yes the degeneration of student politics reached to the same malignant stage as is its paternal body.. the body politic. but we need to go to the roots of this issue. active student politics is sine qua non for vibrant democracy and organic evolution of genuine future leaders. the student activist's values deteriorated to the extent their sponsoring party's ideological basis got distorted. for example in ANDHRA PRADESH centrist NSUI has no strong base and leftwing got fragmented in to SFI, AISF, DSO, AIDSO, PDSU and RSU etc.A chunk of left students function under SC,ST, BC and telangana banners. affluent sections join together under the banner of ABVP. police treat ABVP activists in telangana districts as their informers on campus based naxalite student activities. as our society is subdivided by class, caste, religion etc based differences ...so do our student community. sharp among them does not pay any attention to love, patriotism,or idialism but simply adore america and software derived monetary dreams. the mediocre majority are struck to hostels like parasites to become massbase for lumpen politicians. some even become teaching staff in colleges leading to fall in standards.
College election should be banned immediately. Colleges are there for getting eduction. Multi-party system ruined India(everybody is playing their cards shamelessly). Politicans are hell bent to destroy India in all aspects. Hardly any party has a wish to curb it. Politics & students nexus destroying young generation. We can establish ourselves with our ancient tradition i.e. Guru-Sishya parampara. Let politician do soul searching and rectify themselves else God cann't save India.
I believe this article has significant approach towards futurte India. As long as Indian politics is concerned it has never been disciplined. Every year their will be mishappenings and as a general Indian we will keep watching. It is time for India to make sure that such unwanted elements get eradicated from the grounds our learning and not only that they should be punished for taking law in hand. Make sure this does not go as dustbin news. Taking right action will elevate country's future.
The biggest problem that our nation is sufferring from is not unemployment, poverty,caste discrimation,litreacy,or the hundred of things that we can think that makes us sad. The biggest problem that we are facing is called GOVERNMENT , represented by the corrupt politicians. Government is the reason for inflation,social disorder,unemployment,reservation,corruption,pollution,think of all the problems our country faces the root cause is government. How do we cure from this problem, "SHRINK GOVERNMENT AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE"
The indian gods have no power,its only clay or stone.what it can do.The fools worship thinking that they are real gods only to be taken for a ride by the polititicians for gaining power in the the name these false gods and religion.
What is new in it? And this will continue till politicians continue to invade educational institutions, directly and/or indirectly. And these set of people do not make honest people to do a +ve work. For example, Mr Manmohan Singh. I am sorry to say that our politicians fail capitalise the effciency of our great PM, because of their selfish motives.

hi Tommy, It is pity that you believe one god for India, one god for American, one god for Russian... If there is something that u refered to as god it should be everywhere so it should be there in the clay and stone. If u could not find the god in this clay and stone then where would you find him.
I think you beleive in something(..ism) that is not in ur experience and claiming that u know the real god. This is utter foolish thing.
i always dream of flim "muthulvan" to happen in reality.Though its fictious movie i believe it has a great idea to bring our country from all this sin. May be somedays in the future we ourself should come forward to wipe our sinfull politicians.i believe those days are not too far.
I appreciate rediff for doing as a such a great job and i request them to continue and extend in a large form to create more awareness with our young generation.
Hope media should picture all this article in a big format creating more awareness with our people and should punish the people whoever is wrong.
Iam wondering, does politicans have any right to indulge with student affairs in the educational organisation(like students union).I have this question for many years, what role do they play exactly in the university? then why do we have vice chancellor,principal and other head of institution. Is this real democracy?
i feel this is real sin for india to have such bunch of jokers as politicians.
God can't do anything,only we people of the next generation should wipe of this sins from our country.
