Why she is not going to Kolkotta related to the Land sale for TATAS scam.

Madam there is case related to Ayodhya for the last 5o plus years. Why dont you make a statement to close out that case first. Court must not spend even a minute for this case because a famed writer dont like the verdict?
Shame on you studio activists

Please...let India take care of itself !

Will such anti-Indian intellectuals like Arundathi Roy stop meddling into the affairs of India ?

These people want to use their Indian origin to their advantage. They write / speak based on their Indian experiences, attract audiences due to their Indian origin, get awards , get the status, etc. And our Indian media / intelligentsia has a peculiar disease - it will respect India-bashers more, and India-bashers of Indian origin much more. So to get this respect, these people, similar to the Communist (hypocrite) intellectuals deride India in front of the international media.

Arundathi Roy had taken an anti-national stance by uttering in public (that too, outside India) that India does not have a proper democracy, India has occupied Kashmir, etc. Do we still need to give credence to such intellectuals' views on India ?

She, besides the "ultra-nationalists" Tarun Tejpal and Aniruddha Bahal, has brought India the honour of getting the prize for bad *** writing. So, now we know what is the common thread among such anti-national intellectuals.

Let us tell these people unequivocally : if you do not respect India's sovereignity, just keep away. India will take care of itself.

Afzal the terrorist
by Fr. Joe Fernandes on Dec 13, 2006 02:49 AM

I am in agreement with Arundhathi Roy. No man should be accused falsely. Again if there is a shred of doubtthe benefit should be given to the accused. Let no person be hanged without a undred percent proof and evidence.
Beside a good deed may produce a corresponding good deed and person. Hanging solves the problem but keeps a very bitter taste behind.
Fr. Joe Fernandes.

by B R K Nanda on Dec 13, 2006 02:38 AM

Question to Ms. Arundhoti Roy.......

What about the security guards who lost their lives in the parliament attack?!!! If u think yourself as champion of humanity, then why don't you think of the pain and suffering with which the family members of those dead security guards are living for last few years.

DONT waste space on people like Arundhati Roy
by Kanthesh on Dec 13, 2006 02:30 AM

who have all recently become Indians after some of the Indian Cities became cosmopolitan enough for them to return and then want to preach to us on how and if we should try and sentence a criminal who was involved in an attempt to blow up our parliament.
