6 THINGS to be done to FIX PROBLEMS of INDIA
by Prince rattan on Nov 30, 2007 01:39 PM  | Hide replies

And Why not we make the system work by whole country rather than choosing few politicians who can be corrupt anytime.

A transparent system:

A website where all the Things which are done by Parliament/politicians, Posted on Website and People choose what to do(by polling system as simple as 123 and Decision made by people in seconds, NOT by Politicians.

It can be done by MAKING a one national website where anyone can poll.

More than 50% votes make the LAW/Decision. where more than 50% agree.

where people can vote for each and every crucial Decisions like

1. "DEATH PENALTY FOR CORRUPT OFFICIALS/OR CUT THE HANDS OF CORRUPT OFFICIALS

2. "ONE CHILD ONE COUPLE" BAN ON HAVING MORE THAN ONE CHILD.

3. NOT MORE THAN 2% ON BUYING WEAPONS or SECURITY.

4. MAKE PAKISTAN A FRIEND BY GIVING THEM KASHMIR IF THEY WANT.

5. BAN THE WINE/CIGRATES/TOBACCO PRODUCTS/PESTICIDES

6. EDUCATION SYSTEM ON CHOICE WHAT A CHILD WANTS TO BE.

Above things implemented and Poverty will disappear in 10 Years.

'India can be changed by the new generation'
by devendra redkar on Jan 22, 2007 03:59 PM

Sir,
The youth of this nation died at the hands of power-lusting 70 year olds long time ago....When Bhagat Singh,Rajguru and Sukhdev were hanged in broad daylight, the aged but great Mahatma was spinning yarn....sad yet true.Post Independence the country has seen only one young prime minister in the shape of Rjeev Gandhi solely for the reason that he was a natural heir to the then murdered prime minister. We have presidents who fall, prime minsiters who have no strong legs.Minus the blasphemic hatred against the kurds Saddam Hussein is the person we want to see in this nation both as a guardian and a nation builder.Would the old actually die in this country or will they leave scars in the heart of the youth who really matter remains to be seen.Hope floats they say.....but hope is the natural opposite to writing a destiny of our own

Dear Sir,

No country is great, it is the people who make country great.

I know today in India we have corrupt politicians but still this wonderful country is growing at a rate of 9% and it would have touched 10% if there were no astronomical increase in international fuel Prices.

Think about positive side of this great nation, till date I have travelled to more than 25 countries and I have seen changing respect for India. We are on a ship with more than 1 Billion people, 25% of whom are living below poverty line still whole world is looking at us for our growth, stories of IIM graduates getting at par salary with Harvard passout is making headline in US.
I love this country.Do your best and let this country grow on its own.

Useless trees cannot bore useful fruits !

To expect the youth of today to become nation builders is an utopian thought. if u wish to know the difference between developed nation & underdeveloped nation than just compare the youth of these nations, you will find that the youth from developed societies are self-dependent & self-reliant, they believe in building there own nest, they consider it shameful to live with and depend on their parent after 18, and those who stay back with their parents are considered weaklings, these self-dependent youth is actually instrumental in developing their nation, they learn while they earn, they believe in dignity of labour and hence r prepared to do any job to survive, compare this with our youth, they don't have the guts to move out after 18 and build there own lives, even after 25 they depend on their parents for pocket-money, education, clothes, food et al., not just this they r even incapable to find their own life-partner, besides their parents they also depend on their in-laws for comfort & luxary. I really fail to understand what merit todays indian youth posesess so as to contribute towards nation building. weak trees will bore weaker fruits, and hence unless he is forced to build his own life after 18 he will remain an ugly weakling. This typical indian youth knows only to blame reservations for all his problems when actually he himself enjoys a well-protected and cosy life provided by his/her parents. My Mantra is 'Kick them out after 18 and let them build their own nest' after-all a developed nation is the sum-total of developed individuals. jai-hind.

What Socialism is he talking about
by Suresh on Aug 27, 2006 02:32 PM

The fact of the matter is, whether it is socialistic or capitalistic rule, we must ensure that rule of law holds good whatever may be circumstances. Unfortunately during the sixties we carried the socialistic era a bit too far. I am sure that mr. Krishna Iyer remembers the terrible kind of pro-worker rulings that SC gave back in the 60s, condoning even the most criminal acts under the garb of worker welfare. The capitalistic swing that, India is into, can be directly traced to those horrible days.

Youth can change India
by Inez on Aug 25, 2006 01:19 PM

Though a tad late in responding, let me say I loved the article. I train many young people and they all SAY "I love my India". But when I ask if given an opportunity will they go abroad, at least 60-65% say 'Yes'. This is sad, because I DO believe our youth can make a difference, so I constantly urge them to challenge their ideas and ideologies, to refuse to accept anything less than good and to get involved in the politics of our country. I am sad to say that while they are all fired up at that point , they go home to their lives of complaining and inertia. what a shame! Isn't something we can do?

Youth has changed india
by srinivas on Aug 25, 2006 09:41 AM

Youth is and has changed india. We are a lot more intolerant, more impatient more abrasive in our demeanour and a host of other such things. India also has more passion and aggression in the youth which helps. Its good to see that we are becoming more no-nonsensical. We are at the same time racing against our culture, abandoning our identities in search of a seemingly better alternative which ofcourse cretes great disharmony within. Youth needs to change to help india change for the better!

Youth can change India !

I agree with Mr. Iyer that we need a new generation of leaders to take control of the destiny of the country, if India were to progress & some social equality & justice is brought to the people. We have corrupt leaders like,Lalu Yadav, always looking to make themselves rich by swindling the system. Even people who have made millions/billions, have no social conscience & have no love for the society which fostered & nourished them. Otherwise, how do you explain the $60 Million spent by Lakshmi Mittal for his daughters wedding, a cool $5 Million for booze alone. God will not pardon them, when they finally have to account in front of God. Why can't they spent at least a fraction for the poor & down trodden. Now, he is planning to start a steel plant in Orissa & he will exploit & pay dirt cheap as wages for the workers!

Dear Sir,

Why to criticise Lalu, he is the same person who made our railways profitable.Students from Harvard, Standford,IIM listened to him for his deeds. He is also part of this great nation let us forget what ill he had done for this nation and let us remember that he has benefitted an organisation which was running in loss for decades.
Let us all work with honestly and I pray our nation will grow leaps and bounds.

Amen.

Deepak
