There are two things very different when compares India and Israel. One is that India is a big country with diverse religious. Israel can be united and concentrated to its aim but it will be very difficult for India to act in the same way. Secondly, the environment (surrounding)that India has been in is very different to that of Israel. Israel has much superior millitry power to its neighbours but India does not have that level of superior (even excl China). Author seems too confident to India\'s capability. Check reality before you write such stuff.
Seems like a prejudiced article favoring the underdog. Does the author mean to say that one fine morning Israel decided to wage war and did it? Why omit the reasons that led to it? And I certainly cannot understand the parallel drawn between Pakistan & Lebanon! Retaliation is just a reaction Mr. Bidwai. First this traitor stop calling pakistan occupied kashmir as Azad Kashmir. I was reading all this go israel model thing all over the internet and was thinkin about writing an article against why we shouldnt. You've just did that and the article is very pointed and informatic. As u mentioned theres only one way to fix the issue. Let the citizens of both side mix as much together as possible and thus build confidence in each other. Am right now in Dubai and I have a few Pakisthani friends. I find them very nice and always leave me wondering what a fool I was to hate pakistanis all thru my childhood. Its some factions for their own gains or because of their crippled mind that creates all the problems. If we try to bring the whole sociely down to teach them a lesson it'll only aid them by making the savaged place a breeding ground for their activities. as u can see in palestine southern lebenon and Iraq.Theres a saying in malayalam "Eliye kollan illam chudaruthu" which means dont bring the house down to kill the mouse.
