Economic Development Silly!

Modi is fortunate to be the Chief Minister of a progressive state. Gujaratis are enterprising and have believed in moving forward, taking the right initiatives. Modi has effectively exploited this culture and acted boldly to address the daily needs of ordinary people, as Sheela Bhatt has pointed out. The prime pre-occupation of the people all across the country is economic development and a better quality of life. All others become insignificant when life becomes more comfortable and promises to continue that way. To top it all, he has used his charisma to hold the attention of his people. Yet he doesnt come across as an arrogant dictator as some other Chief Ministers tend to do.

He definitely cannot be perfect. Things are not going to go well all the time. His adversaries will try to exploit such weak moments by maligning him. Much depends on how he reacts during such times and still rally the Gujaratis with him. Will he be humble enough to accept mistakes and modify his approach if he still has a chance?

He is invincible quite simply because people of Gujarat and Gujaraties every where treat media with comtept it deserves for its falsehoods and rot. Media celebs to be true are not even a patch on his shoe.

Modi and Lalu

If anyone can come back and win elections after such riots is ofcourse is invincible. As of today we have two leaders who are invincible i.e., Lalu and Modi. Where as we all know about Bihar and it's Law and order situation. In Bihar IPS and IAS officers are killed on weekly basis and innocent ppl are killed in double figures on daily basis, and Laloo still rules.Where as in Gujarat Hundreds of muslims killed in reaction to burning a bogie full VHP activists and now everything seems to be fine. I would rather prefer Gujarat over Bihar on any given day.
