Mr Arpi,

You have to tell us more in detail the advantage of conquering India a population of more then a billion. Are we resourse rich? or like Tibet are we scantly populated and statergically advantageous or being at a height.

I think it is proved time and again that no country can really conquer another country and stay in peace. Even super power like USA finds it difficult to hold on to Iraq. It is costly and drainging resources in terms of manpower and money. They would love to leave the country as soon as someone would show them how to do it. Even though Iraq is small desert with the second highest Oil resources in the world.

India left Bangladesh as soon as our job was done.

Its a whole lot of new world out there and no country can keep any other country under its domain without paying a heavy price for that. I dont think China is that foolish.

Ofcourse it doesnt mean that we should let our guards down. There will always be foolish politician in the world, as it has been proved time and again who would like to conquer the world. We must guard against such crazy lot.

Jai

CHINA

time has come for india to take china threat seriously. though no direct threat is apparent ,in the long run it would be foolish on our part to ignore it now . i dont know about indian embassy's role in china , however it would pay in the future to keep a tab on the dragons activity in our neighbouring countries. specially with china making the naval base in myanmar.
also we must be actively involved in our neighbours politics to keep them stable. because any disturbance will affect us badly . if our neighbours dont prosper it'll become very easy to recruit their youth in terrorist activity for peanuts .

hope our politicians are doing some work about it .

Mr Jai,

The goal of an invasion need not be conquering alone, there are immense benifits one can get out of this invasion. To name a few, Kashmir would be settled in Pakistan's favour, Economy will collapse leaving millions stranded, Territorial expansions, emergance of china as a superpower which is resource hungry to support its powerhouse.
>>I think it is proved time and again that no country can really conquer another country and stay in peace. <<
Well I can give u an example ... India. Today we are poor economically and its the result of a rule that has lasted for hundreads of years from muslims till brits.
>>India left Bangladesh as soon as our job was done.<<
India never had any intensions to rule over bangladesh if it did have it would have shaken the economy and india might well have become an failed state given that India fought 2 quick wars and India had to invest heavily in defence and also that India had refugee problems running in millions of prople. India's goal was to cut pakistan so that there was no eastern sector part in future ind-pak wars.

IFF(I doubt) china invades its goal would be to hit at the economy and halt recovery more than territorial gains
