What an OBSCENE article! How can one write or think like this? If Khem Singh was murdered, the judicial system in the US will deal with it. We have seen how the murderers of Indians were sentenced to death in Texas and Arizona.
But, how many Indians murdered got justice in Gujarat?
Also what has FOIL or leftists to do with a crime like a murder?
The Hindus should not allow some people to use their religion to be utilized for political and personal purposes.

Hi Rajeev,
I am an Indian working in Dallas as a Researcher.
Well, an excellent article about Khem Singh, just in time, when I thought he was getting ignored and was about to publish it in Dallas morning news. Anyways I am going to mention a line about it and direct it to your article, because, I cant write the way you are but sure, I do express the same as you are.
Hats off
Saraswathy Swaminathan

Organize

I am deeply disturbed by this event that was not even reported in any Indian or American media!! It is time all Indians organize to fight discrimination. This is not time for Sikh-Americans and Hindu-Americans, Sikhs and Hindus should stand together in this.

Dear Writer...

Your acticle is really good and you are right, unfortunately not all the people are treated like human beings, but still there is one thing which really annoys me. For you, everybody who isnt Hindu, Sikh or of another Indian religion is for you immediately the bad, it seems. You are right, there are many people who think they are better then others, and this often happens in western countries, but you cannot accuse everybody to be like that, cause this is as superficial as the people who commited all these crimes, the only difference is, that there isnt so much cruelty.
Still, im glad that somebody tries to open the eyes of the people, and i hope, that this message will be read by the persons who need some help which might open their eyes. So, come on like this, but dont accuse everybody, cause im too white, but hate racism as much as you might do this, and i think there are many, unless too less, who think like you and me...

I know Kalapani. When my dad was posted in Portblair I saw the jail cells. Our fore fathers really went through hell to bring us the gift of freedom that we think we just deserve it because we have it. If we wont protect what we have, slowly they slip way one by one. Sir, you brought tears to my eyes. I promise you I will be one of those voices that will make noise.

The people went through hell for freedom were punished and the traitors who have nothing to do with Independence and those who collaborated to derail the process were well rewarded. As Anne Besant was mentioned in Arun Souri's column in rediff a couple of weeks ago, we are ungenerous people for sure. vijaya kumar

Shri Rajesh Srinivasan,

This article is fantastic! I fully support you in your views of the hypocrisy of the US and of these 'pseudo-secular' figures (Biju Mathew & Vijay Prashad). Both these FOIL figures came to my university recently in separate events. These incorrigible people remind me of Ellsworth Touhey from 'The Fountainhead' (Ayn Rand). Biju Mathew spoke on the topic - "Funding Hate: Hindutva in the U.S." and labelled organizations like Ekal Vidyalaya (which is currently running 9000 one-teacher schools in tribal and remote areas of India) as communal.

Hope you continue writing such informative and thoughtful articles. Thank You.

Your article is a a move which will make people aware of the injustice done on Indians in America. Which I myself is not sure why left unnoticed. Indians have tolearn to stand up and fight ...if they don't then history will repaest itself.

Thanks for throwing light on such a sensitive matter
