The question should not be about parentage, but about the unending dynastic succession, rather than a solid base of qualities that support political careers. Have Indians not had enough of three generations of Nehru/Gandhis? How about these two young people compete with other Indians for a career in the service of their Mother land rather than exploiting the sorry Indian trait of leader worship? What kind of a democracy is this?
Can Mr Mahajan, true son of the soil, personification of India itself, the favourite son of Mo India claim acceptance in all parts of India? Would he say the same thing to NRIs and others to whom he goes with a begging bowl,if they are of mixed parentage?
I strongly agree with Mr. Pramod Mahajan. The FACT of the matter is- Rahul and Priyanka are Half-Indians.
I seriously doubt their credentials as 'Leaders'.
Rahul Gandhi has spent more years abroad than in India and that too with his Combodian girlfriend.
What is the guaranttee that this man will understand the common Indian people's problems? Similarly Priyanka has married Robert Vadra- another half-Indian.
The only reliable half-Indian here is Omar Abdulla-I think. At least he has married Payal- an Indian woman.
What respect can there people show for India if they don't consider Indian women/men good enough to settle down with?

From all your statement it seems ,you have the same problem which BJP and it's partners have,that is to make personal attacks.And yes Rahul and Priyanka are as much Indian as you and me.
Will Mr. Pramod Mahajan decide from now on as to who is Indian and who is not ? What he says with reference to Sonia Gandhi is acceptable to a large extent. But now the tune that he is harping about Rahul and Priyanka is something that goes down in bad taste. Not only that, so far I had held Mr. Mahajan in the highest estemm after Mr.Vajpayee, Mr. Advani and Mr. Murli Manohar Joshi. But with these comments he has not only let me down , but millions of other Indians. Being born in India itself is good enough to make a person Indian, because that is the magic of this land, this country. Mr Mahajan , Rahul and Priyanka are Indian and will remain Indian as Indian as you and me are.
Just only I Question I want to ask that if Rahul & Priyanka is not Indian then what u think about Mother Teresa, What u say then, we feel Proud that mother Teresa is the Citizen of India, Our Government give Rastriya Samman during his funeral, the way how Mahatama, Neharu, Indra, Goes, if she gets this all rights as like a Indian then why not Rajiv & Priyanka,
It is not surprising to see Mr. Mahajan or any person to make comments on young individuals. Both Rahul and Priyanka belongs to Young NEXT Generation. Let them first contest the elections, prove themselves in Parliament by active paricipation in bettering the functioning (question hour and bringing relevant issues of importance for building a strong India)and contributing significantly through social service. The leadership issue is insignificant for them since they have a long way to go. The present leadership of all parties should allow elbow room to young and qualified (educated) people to participate in nation building.
MR Pramod Mahajan beware, its only due to Vajpayee ji and the inexperience of Rahul and Priyanka that BJP will win this election, but in the next elections get ready to pack your bags.
