abusing savarkar is a fashion. i didnt even go through the interview because it was i possible to tolarate illogical gibberish who thinks he is good enough to criticize savarkar. concepts are quite clear. every individual who follows hindu culture is hindu. fortunately hindu religion doesnt require an individual to believe in god to be hindu. i am atheist but i am hindu. secondly, savarkar was a practical man. when he saw in andaman muslims were jailors and conversion was going on full fledge, he saw people divided on religion. seeing that he proposed two nation theory. anybody would have done that. come on. put down that secularist mask aside. see the conditions even today. and thirdly, even if he had apologized i dont see anything wrong. did he tell names of his accomplices? no then shut up!! he did what he had to do, apologized and lived happily. if you think you have to die to prove you are hero, get yourself checked!!

Darshan Tadvalkar
Chandra's half knowledge (which is dangerous)
by Darshan Tadvalkar on Jul 31, 2006 01:23 PM

Mr. Chandra,

How old are you, were you there to see the Indian struggle for Independence? If you were, what did you do for the Indian Struggle? Your stature is very low & not at all comparable to Swatantrya Veer Savarkar. If you cannot speak anything good about him, you should keep your mouth shut, continue doing your research & other things. The hardships our revolutionary freedom fighters went through is unimaginable. It was not as easy as wandering half-naked with women around, throughout the nation. It was much much more than that. It was not drinking goat\\\\\\\'s milk & dry fruits to break the fast. Our martyrs died during those hunger strike. It was not about doing prayers & just giving speeches. It was real hardship & real struggle. So please dont utter any words of dis-respect towards Swatantrya Veer Savarkar or Subhash Chandra Bose. They are the true heroes of our Nation.

Regards,
Darshan.

our present leaders are short sighted and for their petty political benefits, they are ignoring the great sacrifices done by savarkar. Why none of them have a courage to say anything againest other people ? savarkar is a legend and will live in our lives. He is definately a role model.
