Dont know why my comment was cut to a quarer.. Anyway posting it again ... This reviewer never found a film "good" ever. Make us believe that he is a ever-unhappy
The way Ranbir Kapoor doffs his cap so many times reminds one of Stan Laurel (of Laurel and Hardy movies fame) and of Charlie Chaplin's movies. Also his (Ranbir's) hand and face gestures are the very same what Laurel and Chaplin did and danced decades ago in their movies! This blatant copying does not deserve accolades from critics, public, media, press - as the Director and Script Writer of any movie must always find something new and original (unless it's a biopic) if they want their film to be cherished and remembered always. Anurag Basu and Pritam (music too inspired by the 2001 French movie "Amelie") are you listening? DON'T COPY AND TAKE CREDIT FOR WHAT ARE NOT "YOUR" IDEAS. The mannerisms by Ranbir and some other actors in the movie "Barfi" may be new to them as they are young, so they can fool today's youngsters but they can't fool the senior citizens and older generation still living today who have seen Chaplin and Laurel/Hardy in their younger days!

superbly written. But one needs to clap for today's generation who watched old movies and copied them with perfection.
Please make/direct one movie to help us understand what an ideal movie should be. Though as per your guidance we agree that only SRK and KJ make good movies, but one is needed from your side as well to even teach them how they can make it better. Can't wait anymore to see a movie directed by you...
barfi no doubt its a nice movie.Ranbir and Priyanka acted well. But surely its not so great kinda movie. I dont understand what message Anurag Basu wanna give

Ranbir was great, but I cannot share the same feeling about Priyanka's performance..i think she sucked and as a whole brought the acting quality of the movie down..a more talented actress would have given it a much better touch..instead of somebody who just had one stock expression throughout the movie..
