A very nice and importand in this stage of the earth wherein lot of problems has to face by the students as well as the parents.... The movey is a solution to all such problems and to alert both. In the movey Deepika Padukone ,Saif Ali Khan along with Amitabh Bachan's acting was unique...specially Deepika's award happened what I predicted.
I don't understand how the reviewer could give it 1.5 rating. It was more about the real problems in our education system where one feels cheated and the politicians taking the advantage of it. We have seen so many private coaching centers coming up and it has become a very big business where a common man can't send his children. Education is everyone's right and it's free for all. Amitabh and Manoj were the soul of the movie and others were average. The movie definitely deserves 3.5 rating and is much better than those useless s.khan movies. It's an eye opener for the people who understand the education system.

The trailor shows both reservation and coaching centre, so there is no confusion abt the theme that depicts a common man, Amitabh DOES NOT support the reservation but a bit bent towards (given conditions of dalits in the past century), two different things, lot of difference.
Solution depicted by Amitabh is so far the best one, If you make education FREE, these caste conflict and education business will be abolished. It discusses both pros and cons of reservation too.
The whole concept is very realistic and happening in the country. Many coaching institutes loot people per year, teachers teach in coaching institute not college, still, some reputed colleges (including Govt) still give free extra classes for students in demand (though the %ge is very less but it happens).
People should never be lead or mislead or argue of reviews, reviewer are common people only, there is no special course or skills required for that Nor a movie becoming a hit has anything to do with inherent script, many critically aclaimed movies have been flops and vice versa.
My personal opinion, Suspend teachers who do private tutions (once proven that they are taking money). Let's use mobiles,camerca to record and show proof (at least we can do a better use of them than mms scandals)

The movie has been highly appreciated by various international news papers, movie collections high irrespetive of few bans...what more proof u need !!!
what a waste of time. this movie was made to surround with so much hype that people saw it completely outside the cinema halls. forget reservation,even current booking was available. amitabh made speeches just one after another not because some went against the screening of film but because his same old show KBC was relaunching on a channel. people have grown up to these tricks now.

why are you wasting your time promoting Amitabh and this nonsense garbage movie.
'Aarakshan' is a complete disaster and could be the worst flop of 2011.. the movie is a real nonsense crap and no one is even furter interseted to watch this garbage movie on pirated DVD's available on footpaths.

As I said its all my personal opinion !!! I went to see this I enjoyed, felt like money is worth spent, thats what matters !!!
I went to watch this movie after I saw reviews here, but still me and my friends liked it, even 3 idiots was incorrectly reviewed here.

I think reviewer job is reserved for zero iq people having good alien language vocob to write sh1t load of crap..
Not sure what is so difficult to understand.. Jha has very clearly articulated that reservation is good for some bad for some....the discussion raises conflict and no solution..
The solution is to engage in educating kids free who do not have means..and every citizen who can spare an hour two few times in a week should get to some remote village help educate india..
Not sure these reviewers..were expecting masala thorughout or what..do not have enough intelligence to get the simple message

i don't know about reviewer..but that is excellent movie..may be not the best but real worth watch..these things really happens in state like bihar,up..so those who r not aware of facts they may take it as a crap..but it's remarkable effort to made it in so balance way.....
Its a bad movie for following reasons: 1. First of all the title of the movie is misleading, the movie is mostly about Education system in India rather than Aarakshan, director P Jha just wanted to cash on the controversy that would be created by naming it as Aarakhsan. The same trick which was used in Raajneeti by promoting Katreena as Smt. Sonia Gandhi. 2. The entire topic is old(from early 2000) where private institution were banned in some parts of the country. 3. As mentioned in the review, the main characters in the movie often changes their hearts just to support the HERO of the movie. 4. Deepika's acting is average compared to her father's from the film.
