YOU TAKE A ISSUE AND TRY TO CRAFT IT TO A FILM. BUT YOU LOST IN YOUR APPROACH. NO NEED TO BAN THIS FILM AS PEOPLE MAY ABANDON IT AND WAIT FOR OTHER RELEASES

Reservation: A blessing in disguise..
by Jai Singh on Aug 12, 2011 10:10 PM  | Hide replies

Its the reservation system which has fueled India's growth. Govt. & Public sectors anyway do not contribute much to Indian economy. But Pvt. sector has got brilliant manpower and is taking India to continuous growth. In absence of reservation system, all upper and lower caste people will be fighting for govt. posts and doing nonproductive babu-giri all their life. Most of the Govt. job anyway do not need brilliant ambitious people.

My dear you are wrong,it should not be reservation in education and jobs but also there should be reservation in holding the amount of money.
Upper caste businessmen and industrials and MNCs should have 25% reservation for becoming millionairs and bullionaires, rest all income should go the Govt finance departments which should use this money to uplift the Dalits and OBCs.Also there should be aarakshan in each private service org or company. If they resist Govt should nationalise that company.

In India, An upper caste person needs a PAN Card for a transaction over 50000 Rs. even to pay his child's engineering fees whereas a lower caste crorepati enjoys all the facilities given to the BPL citizens.

Yeah, but the sad part is, unlike US the space, defense etc are Govt sectors. Wish there was no reservations and everyone selected on true potential. If anyone one says they are backward even after 60 years of freedom, we should bow in shame.

@ Jai Singh

this is the most disgusting comment I have ever encountered:

'Most of the Govt. job anyway do not need brilliant ambitious people'

for your information I have an Indian friend in US who owns a firm and earns millions yearly but his only regret in life is to not able to qualify for IAS.. another family I know have 2 kids from IIT-K selected in IAS though they had very lucrative private sector offers which they rejected.. I myself was associated with a wing of 80 IAS/IRS officers and they were all brilliant ambitious people..

@ srik

do you really understand what you are saying??

downtrodden communities were treated as slaves by past 3000 years and you feel ashamed if someone says he is backward after 60 years????

surely this is a metro multiplex era where the young generation lives in fantasy lanes and have no connections with the history or past events..

British gave Homeland/Independence to Muslims/Christians/Anglo-Indians/Sikhs/SC/ST communities in 4th August 1932 Round Table Conference.
Gandhi begged these communities viz Reservations so that they don't seek Independence from India.

No need for reservation
by cool dude on Aug 12, 2011 09:13 PM  | Hide replies

in city, lower cast people have much better life standard and money than the upper cast because of reservation. In towns and villages where so called crime against dalits, it is only done by other dalits of different cast.
brahmin and upper cast may be smart or cleaver but they do not torture anyone.

hi, its the systematic oppression by the upper caste people, who are averse to the idea that oppressed people will become rich and sleep with peace,..... and uppercaste people cry about racism in australia and england but once they come back to india they themselves practice castism

the rich people who own media and film industries spread thier vested interest via the media they hold SHAME... SHAME

Some problem with media reviewers
by Murli Devi on Aug 12, 2011 07:53 PM

These days media reviewers can't be trusted. At mouthshut the star writers, who are amateur reviewers and normal junta, have given it 4 stars out of 5 with 100% recommendations. All of them have appreciated the movie to the hilt and called it a must watch.
But I don't know why certain section of media is doing overtime to write it off even before its release!
