This mixed reaction just goes to show how narrow minded indians are about music...we cant seem to adjust to radical and out of box music patterns which we dont normally experience...not to say that this is rahman's best work...but it is by all means a good song which may take some time to sink in, by all means a good advertisement for the CWG...

Voice - Rahman is not a accomplished singer for such a prestigious event
Music - There is no Indian rhythm

Lyrics - The voice and music is such a put off
no one would bother to evaluate it

All in all the theme song has not achieved it's objective

I think lyrics has spoiled the total song. If the Lyrics would have been good, song would have been good. Still i feel music is good. He has to come out of Jai ho Concert & concentrate.

this is crazy ! the whole india was dancing to his tunes "rang de basanthi" ..... Laagan. Just think abt it and prpoably u can give ur comments.
