Yes although Rahman is a great music composer, this is not a proper song for the CWG games. The lyrics "India bula liya...." look like some commercial for Incredible India. This is an international sports event. The song should have been something that showcases the CWG sports spirit. Definitely, something on the lines of Waka Waka..., which celebrated the spirit of the FIFA game. Rahman's theme song misses the context completely.

Correct! This song should be consigned to international scrapheap and it is nothing short of bag full of shit.

Meant it should have flavours of nations ARR song sounds Neither Indian or western Only electronic and synthesier music I dont think forgein athletes or any body can sing along Rhythm not good Slow tempo and stale nasal ARR voice 3 out of10
May be he was plain forced by kalmadi n chor gang to compose this song. He was not at all intrested to compose it is so visible with result which is complete Flop and one of Rehmans worst in many years

The Music is excellent !!!! especially if you hear it couple of times. The Common Wealth Committee decided to make Rehman a scapegoat and put all media attention on to him for their failure. The music was reviewed by all the Commonwealth Committee, including one who has commented its not good... WAKE UP "Jokers"
This mixed reaction just goes to show how narrow minded indians are about music...we cant seem to adjust to radical and out of box music patterns which we dont normally experience...not to say that this is rahman's best work...but it is by all means a good song which may take some time to sink in, by all means a good advertisement for the CWG...
