Robot (Hindi) could not make much impact at the box office as it grossed around 7 crore nett in its opening weekend.
The film did better on Saturday and Sunday but the big jump in collections was not there. The collections were mainly from Mumbai circuit (3.25 crore nett) and CPCI (1 crore nett). The North remained very dull.
The shows of Endhiran (Tamil) were much better be it Mumbai, Delhi or Gurgaon but it was a very limited release.
Overall Robot (Hindi) has not done well especially if we look at the release which was pretty wide. It will have to depend on the weekdays and second weekend if it is to put up a decent final total.

no one in north will go for a dubbed movie in the 1st week..anjaana anjaanee is there to keep them busy..if there are movie goers who dont consider region of origin as a problem then the firther weeks collections will shoot up..wait and c

Biggest reason for this is in in Hindi film there is no SR Khan, Amir Khan or Saif Ali Khan. If SR Khan is added in Hindi Version and in if theatres sell SR Khans excretions in small sachets for all ticket buyers. Then definitely Hindi collections will be huge.

hehe but it collected more than what bollywood biggest hits collected in south. im not indian or south but robot original has already collected 60 crre net 1st weekend and adding hindi version will be 67 which is more than 3 idiots and dabangg. it will be highest net indian grosser of alltime hehe.
Guys, Please watch this movie in theater. This movie is awesome and best ever in indian history. Though there are many movies to come in the near future, this is first of its kind.

Heard that due to stupendous success of the movie, Rajini's remuneration has been fixed as 45 crores. What will he do with so much money? This guy is getting richer and richer.

If you are a rare literate North Indian, please read the annual UNDP report on world development. 400 million people from 8 primarily hindi speaking states of North India live in worse forms of poverty illiteracy and backwardness than even the 25 most backward and poor nations of Africa.
Now print and frame that piece of information on the walls of your house...so next time you dont embarass yourself by talking about being next to USA.
I live in the US, and north India is worse than the toilets of the USA. End of story.
