Being an ordinary Tamil, many a time I bend my head out of shame when I watch such a hysterical behaviour of the so called die hard fans (rather fanatic fans) like what everyone sees for the last one week. Is movie for you or you for movie ? Just ask within yourself. These movie makers are plundering your hard earned money, well within your knowledge Have you ever realized that ?. You’ve got lots of issues like cheap politics, health , education (perhaps TN is the only state where many liquor barons run educational institutions while the state govt. runs liquor shops), job opportunity, inter-state water mayhem, load shedding(except Chennai) , good roads(barring NH) and the like at your door step that are needed to be given atmost importance. What we see now is a paid media hype or not I don’t know and I’m least interested. Don’t you feel ashamed by pouring milk to cut-outs and showing arthies to filmreel boxes? Have you ever seen these in any part of the world. at least any part of India. even in the so called illiterate states like Bihar, UP , Rajasthan and so on ?. I’ve travelled to most part of India and have seen nothing like these sort of madness. Don’t make film actors larger than life. Already our last generation made grave mistake by making MGR as a CM, who brought down TN to 14th place from 2nd position in the national Industrial Map during his 14 years of Tuglaq rule. We are yet
Should be seen as a movie that changes everything from Indian movie perspective.
There is both negative and positive filled in the movie but overall if you see it , your jaw drops at the end of it and you are thinking which movie are you seeing....for a tamil movie industry to use this many special effects where I am not talking about the last 30 or so minutes what people forget it is the interaction between the 2 characters Dr.Vasi(Rajni) and his creation Chitti(Rajni) looks effortless.
Movie : The story is a simple triangle tale of Man vs His girl vs Robot. That is it and what happens due to Robot having emotions.
Positive: 1. Good premise to showcase everything possible and still make people engaged in the proceeding. 2. Liked they did not show dare defying introduction scene where Rajni,flies from the air, breaks coconut,etc,etc. 3. Story gets straight to the point and takes off from there. 4. Enjoyed all the naughty things the robot character chitti does, Rajni fans will not be dissappointed what the scientist cannot do, robot can do. 5. There is a thin line of emotion still attached to the movie that as the story unfold people would support the robot.
Negative: 1. One dimensional story and characters. 2. The mentor is smoking in the lab is more than being ridiculous but can't complain when James Cameron can keep the same thing in his Avatar which had same idiotic scenes 3. Length of the second half should have been kept crisp lot
I strongly recommend all the North indians not to watch this movie. The director of this movie has no brain. Even i can take such a cartoon movie. We north indians should watch only 'Khan' movies. And we should not watch 'Kanth' movie. Pls everyone watch 'Anjaana Anjaani'.

Never say North or South indian for God's sake. We are all Indians first.... Esp we south indians respect even north indians equally. For ex. Come to Northern Chennai and u will not believe u r in south india as most of them will be North indians. Why the heck u want to fight for silly things? BE INDIAN. Try to respect everyone.

If u like special effects then watch robot....best special effects seen in any indian cinemas till date....when we are praising hollywood for something then why not we praise a tamil movie....after all its from our country only...

films are for entertainment and if u need any social message/or insight...start going to college again.....
and pls stop acting like woman, ie, complaining this is wrong and thats not correct.
Rajni has talent thorugh which he can even make stupidity look good and put smile on ppl face....he is so similar to fionz of happy days..
I will watch this film in tamil version as it has subtitles over here..rather that watching hindi...as i sincerely beleive hindi version will lose its charm and effect....
Love India, and love the diversity and variety of India, and moreover I want South Films to be different from North Films.

I was once at Marina Beach in Chennai and went to a Shani temple over there..and there was a message over there... only Hindus allowed in this temple...
I felt so happy, and delighted..and Pujari did pooja specially with me on Saturday and he didnt even took a single paisa from me!
That surely did place a deep respect for South India and next Sunday..i watches Sivaji the boss in theatres..... none of Bombay theatres cud even come close to it!
Each and every part of India is good and blessed in its own way!
THERE ARE BEST FOUR THINGHS IN THE FILM 1.SUPERSTAR RAJANI 2.BEAUTIFUL ASHWARIA RAI BACHAAN 3.RAJANI'S TALK WITH MOSQUITO 4.CLIMAX OF THE FILM MAY BE FILM BE OF ONE HOUR INSTEAD OF THREE HOUR AND THEY GIVE US GOOD PACKAGE OF GRAPHICS LIKE THE ENDING.....BUT WHATEVER FILM WAS GOOD.
