For me the best picture should have gone to the wonderful 'Inglorious Basterds' and the best actor award to Sam Rockwell for 'Moon'(he wasnt even nominated! - yet another example on how Oscars are biased towards smaller production houses!)Though I liked Precious,I would have preferred DISTRICT9 winning best adapted screenplay.And am I the only person who hated Pixar's UP?I want another Finding Nemo please!

You're right.. Avatar has good special effects, but it's not thaaat good...Too long, and when the aliens were singing to wakeup the dead..it was unintentionally hilarious

they are only for adding kissing scenes and exploiting women ethics by giving money to the unethical unfaithful women
they are saying they are equal to hollywood film
they cant competite in income and also in awards
they are not getting awards in foreign language category also
even iranian film gets award
top quality filmmakers are only from spanish and italian movies every film makers from bollwood,hollywood and southindian filmmakers copies from spanish movies

I understand his effort. But I doubt if he had actually worked for Oscar. I feel he was satisfied (of Oscar)after getting plenty of awards for Titanic. Also he should be satisfied with the awards which Avatar deservedly won along with the collection which Avatar made.

It is hurt locker guys.... We don't when Hollywood actors will win an Oscar....lot of politics in our country...... it like giving an award for a Favorite actor... Not for script or performance at least we have to learn from them
