I really liked the Tamil version of Raavan, I'm yet to watch the Hindi Version. Vikram was really great in the movie. I really liked Vikram's performance after a long time. I belive AB baby is still a baby he has to grow little wiser to play such a role. I believe Ajay Devgn would have been a better bet or probably Akshay without his gimmicks.

dont watch in hindi... such movies will only work with tamil audience in mind... guru was weak...raavan is waste...
The story of the movie doesnot do anything with ramayana.This is a stupid revenge story we are seeing in a tamil cinema.Vikram is a rowdy kind of character and his sister is rapped by group of policemen.The men in charge to capture is Prithiviraj and his wife is aish.After vikram's sister commited sucide he wanted to took revenge against Pritihivi/Policmen.He kill all the policemen involved in the rape and kidnapp Aish to make prithivi feel for his wife and wanted to trap him in the forest. THE STORY IS NOTHING NEW AND WAS SEEN IN SO MANY MOVIES.mANI pL sTOP ALL THIS NONSENSE AND TAKE GOOD MOVIES OF YOUR OLD TIME
Raja Sen is not the only person in India there are thousands of people living in India who have to watch and give their judgement. He is not god to decide the fate of the movie.Thanks...............

Raja sen gave a 2 out of 5 for 3 idiots! he must be the 4th idiot out there...so don't go by his reviews...
It is ridiculous to see Abisek Bachan to see on Big Screen, he is simply irritating with no expressions etc. If in this movie Akshay or Ajay or Aamir then this movie would be marvelous and masterpiece.But it is simply loosy and loud with overacting.
How can either of them be better than the other when they are scene to scene copies? Just a bunch of regional chauvinists here trying to bad-mouth each others language, culture and cinema

There is no logic, u can compare Tamil Ghajini and Hindi Ghajini cuz dey had some differences, but Ravan and Ravanan are the same. AR Rehman got his biggest award the Oscar, for a hindi song, so i dont know how can u question his abilities while composing hindi songs

its not for a hindi song...its for a song in a movie made by an Englishman! that made the difference...why didnt he win Oscars his previous hindi movies then?
a tamil thinking anyone from below the vindhyas is superior in all aspects....anyways good that movie will flop big time...so that mani ratnam or rgv will stop making movies with bollywood people to earn national fame...there is enuf talent in Bollywood like Ashushtosh Gowariker, Raju Hirani, Karan Johar, Aditya Chopra, Prakash Jha, Raj Kumar Santoshi, Shimit Amin, Anurag Kashyap etc to keep Bollywood going and touching the heights...

THE DIFFERENCE IS THE ACTING..VIKRAM IS A 2-TIME NATIONAL AWARD WINNER AND ABHI IS JUST NOT SUITED FOR THE ROLE.. AND THE NO, THE FILM IS NOT WORD FOR WORD B/C MANI IS A TAMILIAN AND HE WAS NOT ABLE TO COMMUNICATE IN A LANGUAGE THAT HE IS STILL NOT FAMILIAR WITH..AND ABHISHEK JUST HAMMED..
