its bcos you have watched shittiest movies of abishek.Yuva actors in tamil was brilliant than the one in hindi. I couldnt beleive that ajay devgan is college student in that movie.similarly u cant compare nayagan,dalapathy or other movies of him with guru.First see his previous movies and then talk.

Mr.Muralidharan..read the topic first b4 commenting...it's not 'Mani Ratnam's best films'..it's 'When Mani Ratnam got the best out of these actors'..imo AB did his best,in movies directed by Mani Ratnam..

yeah this one is depressing...kamal,tragic life and fate is acutely shown with of course some great performances...i was depressed for two weeks when i saw this movie:)

if i purchase ticket then i cry..but if ticket is sponsered then my friends cry..btw i cried only once that too after watching the last 15 minutes od "sadma"that was in late 80ss.

And this are more important then the massacre in bhopal..... what great service you are doing rediff to your masters in congress.... not even an article on bhopal as if nothing happened there

Fantastic and you are for sure not the likes of KA, RK or so. Benegal, Mani, Vivekananda, Ray They belong to other types of cinema.
Mani Rathnam just an average director compared to legends like K Asif, Raj Kapoor, Guru Dutt, Yash Chopra, Puttanna Kanagal (Kannada director)...ect. I don't rate him as big as made portrays him.

"Average" minded people like you will never realise Mani's talents. None of ur said directors can make a film like "Anjali" where 2.5 year old girl delivered world class performance.
