Manirathnam is definitely a great director when it comes to getting the best out of his actors,Nayagan definitely was a boost to kamals fab performance,besides it also had great performances from Karthika (who just did two films in tamil) the girl who acts as Kamals daughter in Nayagan. Revathi was also good in Anjali so was Raghuvaran .

No.. Mani himself said Nayagan inspired by Godfather.. Come on.. As far as the movie is good and enjoyable, remaking is not a crime..
