Good review elvis. You have sumed it best in last para. Marty completists are going to watch it and like it none the less. I am also one of them. Strictly speaking this is not the best work from the master or leo but i would prefer it anytime over recent releases like Nightmare on the elm street or Kites. Scorsese has managed to maintained the mystery till the end but the end even though shocking lacks thep punch. But I must mention I liked elvis's review then Raja sen who goes overboard in praise whn u mention tarantino or danny boyle or goes in sarcastic mode if u ask him to review akshay kumar or ajay devgan movies.
This is one of the brilliant movie made in recent past... No one can predict the ending and it is creepy... Rediff review standard is gone.. For stupid Sharukh movies they give 3.5 or 4... Useless review...
this is one of the best thriller movies i have seen. i don't know why the rediff critics give such low ratings to good movies. May be they want to show they are more mature and intelligent then us. Great movie go for it!

Rediff has a set of kids in early twenties writing reviews (Apart from Raja Sen who's mental age is of an infant).. what do u expect???

Dennis Lehane's Shutter Island has been adapted into an audiobook and a graphic novel earlier, never heard of an earlier film version of this 2003 novel.
i saw this movie and i cantell u it is one of the best thriller ever i seen. it is time for Rediff to change revivwer as it still having brain(????????????) of 5 year old.
I watched the movie on the big screen, and the review is totally rubbish. It was awesome, with a very nice ending, if you can interpret it correctly !!! Don't believe what the reviewer says and watch the movie.
