Raj Kapoor - The legend

True, we dont have another show man like Raj Kapoor. It would but be unfair to say that we dont have a show man in the industry. We do have plenty of talent and times have changed. Can we not say that Amir Khan is an extremely talented actor. A Rang DE Basanti, Lagaan or 3 Idiots is no less but a shade better than any RK movie.Commercially, Late Firoz Khan gave us a few magnum opus as did Subash Ghai and Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Many regional film makers including the young and confident Nandita Das,Aparna Sen and a host of talent from the South have made significant contributions to Indian and World cinema. Can we ignore Ashutosh Gowarikar or Raj Kumar Hirani or Kamal Hassan, the multifaceted talent. I am an ardent RK fan . But there is no dearth of talent in India. Hope we agree on this issue as we all agree that Late Raj Kapoor is one of the best we know. He is shining as a star in the sky.

You are right...But this is not to hide other or new telents. This is only for to remind the young public to know about this showman & He was really. See at that time, technology was not much, money was not much & still He did very good & respectable work. In todays only few, even thay have all facilities, still very very few are nearby to that....

Shyam Benegal has his own style of making movies. Simple, but good movies. Looks like Mr. Onkar Singh has not watched "Welcome to Sajjanpur". What a lovely movie.
