I do not agree with the comment. It is quite possible that the village gets electricity for only a few hours. And at night there is no electricity. Hence, the lamps.
how can u say there is no electricity? if there is no electricity how the whole movie shoot without electricity? there is under construction for power supply but upto that the movie complete.may be not high power that why they not supply to whole village

Agreed the goof up is not valid. but ur comment : >> how the whole movie shoot without electricity is the most stupid comment i hav ever seen... hahaaa
Lighting the lamps every night in one house does not mean that there is not electricity in the whole village village.
In my village almost 50% of the people dont have electricity at home. This does not mean there is no electricity at my village...
"But if you recall, Jaya Bachchan is seen lighting the lamps every night which means there is no electricity in the village." -- This is absolutely wrong observation by the author.
Rane, observation is good but this tank might be a rainwater harvesting funda in the village...who knws ......this water might be used for non-drinking purposes ..
Why can't Rane think positively.. there could be a powercut / load shedding problem. If there is a watertank and actors carry water from a pool, then its a mistake.
Rediff is actually publishing such jibber. What a stupid dumb point by this Rane dude. Guess Rane was born with a fluorescent tube dude go in villages till date even though there is electricity, people use lanterns.
