Rediff is actually publishing such jibber. What a stupid dumb point by this Rane dude. Guess Rane was born with a fluorescent tube dude go in villages till date even though there is electricity, people use lanterns.
This is when Madhavan and Sharman meet Javed Jaffery in his House and run with the kalash towards bathroom.... Sharman flushes the cap of Kalash in which the remains of Javed father was kept, but in the next shot Javed Jaffery opens the kalash with cap on it to find that it was a wrong pick by them... check this out.....
Mr. Rane, how old are you? The story in Sholay takes place in early 70s. That was a time when Kerosene was dirt cheap. Electricity was always in short supply.
I grew up in a small town which had electricity. My home was equipped with all the gadgets of those days. But the Hurricane lantern or lamps were a must, because you never knew when the power will fail. The other issue was the use of Kerosene lamps to minimize electricity consumption. Those were the days of simple living!
So your point is absolutely out of place as has been pointed out by other readers. I don't fault you, but Rediff should have had some sense before publishing this and also giving a pat on the back !
It is one thing that low-life survivors like "Rane" finds things like that. The epitome of insult is that Rediff publishes it with a completely misleading headline.
Now that it is settled that Rane's thought process is limited to copy from Raju Srivastava's shows, alternative energy sources training followed by power-cutting introduction might help. On the second thought, no, nothing can help Rane except a professional medical advice.
This observation is not new. This was part of the item presented by a stand up comedian (possibly Raju Srivastava) on TV.I have seen that act.Possibly you have copied from that.Even now a days electricity is supplied for only 12 hours for months. Now you understand.
