The first movie i left in the mid show... never have seen such a bad movie in my life... Never try to even go for the movie not with people you know... sent ur enemies... not expected from a marathi director....
Well, this movie was just pathetic. I don't have any words for it. It was extremely boring. We couldn't even go through the first half of the movie - we just left in about 40 minutes into the first half.
dear preeti, i second your opinion and all the things you've noticed which didn't work out in the film. a clueless film, like you said, the heart was in the right place but the screenplay writers messed it up. was highly pretentious. great review
Now i understand why aamir khan is aamir khan. If u look at his movies on educational system, they have clear cut out of the real life cut out charecters. The movie is never diverting your attention from the real goal of the movie. Paathshaala was a huge dissapointment. The dialogues were very immeture. The teachers were very artificial. The dressing of ayesha takia was as if she is a college student.to add to it all I was shoked to see 15 year old girls in micro minis jumping and swirling arround just to have their skirt lift in air so that people can see their panties, infact thongs. I really think the director was highly confused. I really appreciate aamir who has the courage to show things as it is and not include some unwanted elements to just increase the viewership. These diretors dont learn from the faliur of the similar confused films. The reviewer is very right, the last 15 to 20 mins of the movie is the only good thing about it.
Here people are criticising LSD but I have met people who understands world cinema and they are going gaga over it.. Personally I feel LSD is a landmark and i agree with all the critics.. 1stly it is first digital film and how beautifully camera has been a aprt of the character and 2ndly Non-linear story telling is used in the right manner for the first time.The pulp fiction structure has been used and it is very well done.. To all, Please appreciate coming off ag intelligent cinema like Dev D,Kaminey ,LSD as this movies are helping the industry to grow and not those SRK craps which are meaningless...may be people will start abusing me now but then see i have given you 2 solid reasons as why critics and (true good) cinema lovers are enjoying it..Anyway i am leaving now..will watch 10:30pm paatshala show (wasted money on phoonk 2 earlier)
