Music is people thing, it existed in people (the fire worhippers of Azerbaijan) before advent of Islam... Bhakti music that Meera inherited also got into sufi tradition. So keep music out of it...

Indonesia is the largest muslim country. Last decade, the extremists came with a bang but they had enough. Two Malaysians, Azhahari Husin, Nurdin Top were ambsuhed. Also their own Dulmatin, recently. The aam aadmi cheered as they perished in a hail of gun-fire by special forces! Malaysian govt & families of Azhahari & Nurdin apologosed for their deeds! Hambali is held by US, good riddance!
Whoever believes in violence have to be put away so that others can carry on! Some believe in ascending to heaven by killing others, even children! Thay need no mercy!
ARR knows how he is feted by all. He knows also how the minority want to blow it all creating misery & anarchy, he believes in peace!

Sorry mate, you don't know your theology. Sufi-ism exists outside India, be it Iran or Turkey. It also originated outside India. Sufi is not Wahhabi-ism certainly, but is very much a part of islam and is not significantly influenced by vedanta. You have your facts wrong. Though, it does preach all gods are the same and all that. At least the Indian version
Rahman is a fake Muslim convert (not his choice but his father's who was a married to a muslim girl)...he does not know Islam at all otherwise he will not say what he said about Music. In Islam, Music and Art is BANNED...that's why there are no pictures in Mosques or Quwallis played in Mecca.
Dargah has been called as KAFIR structure as it is akin to idol worship. Rahman goes to some dargah in Cudappah..so he will be called a kafir by true Muslims (Arabs...because Arab is considered Allah's language...Tamil is a Kafir or Haram Language)

Mr.Rao, I appriciate your comment but dudes if some one he is belive atleast worship of statue is totally wrong way and he covert the religion and adopt islam i think it is way to start a right way whatever any firka or atleast if he understand the part of islam may be understand about the real islam, Allah Hidaayat De" So pray for him he will alive and died on isalm only.
Rahman has understood what Islam is and is desperate to come back to Hinduism. But he cannot say it openly but has told it in a round about way. He is afraid that Islamic extremists may kill him.

It means.. Allah is the only god.. he is the only saviour.. and he is the only hope... But the intention of this prayer is to bring all together to one god.. May it be Allah, Ram or Jesus, but unfortunetly... what the extremists from this religion are teaching the Jehadis.. is he is Only the God.. and every one must bow to him... so the problem is .. Should and Must... problem is belief and Extremism... basically attitude... the way you take things... and that has been culprit for all islamic terrorism... so basically Religion is not bad... but it is interpreted as bad.. by the extremists... they shout .. so we listen... and that's how.. Islam is so far the most bad mouthed religion... but like all religion.. what it tries to get everybody together.. and spread love and peace.... so.. don't hate religion... don't hate people.. but don't encourage haterate between people of different religion.

The tax was meant for non muslim....as muslims kings were in power... I think might is always right.. U might have heard of al-taqiya.... that is if u r not in power, make friendship with non muslim til uget into power! I think it was smart thinking!

jaziya was meant to compensate for mandatory zakat collected from muslim.(so that everyone paid same tax).. besides hindus were not required to forcibly join army in case of war. That being said many muslm rulers(like rss in india) were biased.
