A Third Class review for a Top class movie depicting heart wrenching helpless human emotions and the real picture of jails in our country. Movie is surely watchable and the Raja Sen was drunk or doped when he wrote this thoughtless review. On the contrary TOI review is very well written and thoughtful.
Looks like this Raja is genuinely "in" sane to write this kind of review for such a wonderful film. It is truly hard hitting without usual violence one expects in these flicks. Performance by the lead actor is exceptional and one of the best we have seen in recent times.
i sat down to watch jail and left halfway, the movie is simply soooo boring n dull with no entertainment value, and a very diluted message and yea, jus putting in everything Bhandarkars read in the papers - i mean hv u guys seen 'the shawshank redemption', thats the movie on jail, languishing in prison for a crime one did not commit and how to turn it into hope. expected better since i really liked Page 3 and life in a metro, this ones just plain borrinng with very amateurish acting and so not worth the time n money duh
