there is something seriously wrong with this reviewer .. i saw this movie last night .. first time i saw that the sections were used correctly .. court scenes were more realistic and the inmates were shown as real as possible .. i donno wat problem the reviewer has with shwoing the things in movies that come in newspaper .. that reflects out society .. why we need to be innovative when it comes to realistic cinema .. i thought the movie was hard hitting and made me feel emotional bout the importance of freedom and the fact that our system is slow and dull but then there is always a hope .. critics are too bore these days as i have a misunderstanding that their reviews shud be more and more critical and cynical towards the film .. its not that way .. i gave Jail **** and its a must watch ..

buddy i cant agree with you more-I myself really liked the movie -I was surprised at this sham review
Madhur picks up a topic from a newspaper, finds out all the negative news associated with this topic and spins a story around it.. thought i liked his corporate, page 3 and fashion a lot.. this one seems to be too dark yet non realistic..
dear readers.....who is this raja sen?why do rediff guys stick to him even after people detest him for his reviews.out of curiosity ,i have searched for him on google..believe me he looked like zumonji with long hair..Has he directed any film?He spoils the hard work of hundreds of people who worked for the movie with just his review. come on guys,as the avid readers of this portal let us vouch for his termination in redifff...
raja sen is ...oversmar..t,which is the case with benga....leees(not to offend my bengali brothers n sisters...it's a compliment of sorts...u made india proud with nobel n oscar..)...fellow readers what do you say?
I just saw Jail with my wife & we both liked it. we did not find it boring at all. I really do not know what Raja Sen is talking about when he says 'Jail is a bloody bore'. I actually thought it gave a good impression of the languid pace of our legal system. I am noticing more & more that Raja Sen's reviews are not at all reflective of the general population. Where is Khalid Mohamed when you need him. At least his reviews were a good read.
