For better Review
by Baba Ramdev on Nov 14, 2009 06:26 PM  | Hide replies

I refer TOI reviews in papers. After checking 3-4 reviews on Rediff, I concluded that Rediff is not professional as far as movie rating is concerned. After writing my own review of 2012, I checked Times of India's website and found that they have more professionalism. Even you can rate movie just by single clicking. I checked movies that I saw recently and compared my ratings to those. I was satisfied with their ratings. They tell you about story, performance, background score, photography, direction with and - of it. Thus overall rating is given considering all. So switch to TOI and dont give much attention to rediff as rediff might be wanting us to post a lot of comments and earn few bucks from advertisers by showing them clicks on their page. Bye bye Rediff.

Very Bad review
by manish on Nov 13, 2009 03:04 AM

I think the reviewer is surely bribed or influenced to write such a bad review for an excellant movie. He should be banned from reviewing for sure. If rediff does not ban him I will and I request others not to visit this page and waste your time. What a pathetic piace of work, cant believe it. did he really watch the movie before writing this review ?

Jail ! tripping & highly compelling
by kalpathy venkiteswaran on Nov 12, 2009 11:01 PM

I don't know what on earth made Mr.Raja Sen write such a stupid and nonsensical review!I think criticizing good films has been imbibed in his blood ! When it comes to movies doesn't anything,Mr.Raja comes with 3 n half starts!..Atrocious

This movie is a must watch .Especially for Madhur Bhandarkar lovers,it should be on your cards.Don't miss it! Exceptional performance by Neil Nithesh & Crew.Realism spurs in the direction.Screenplay is apt and highly compelling! Mugda Gotse had very little role to play, but did it with utmost perfection.BGM is too good.Watch the movie to know about the real plight of people suffering in a Jail!

peace....

i dunno why some people are intent on making every thing a north vs south issue....every film industry be it hollywood, bollywood or tollywood has its own charm....they all have their own share of ups and downs....good and bad films....as well as good and bad actors....the comparison is invalid....every director makes a film for a particular audience....when murugadoss made ghajini in tamil it was specifically targetted towards the tamil audience....when he remade it in hindi he was looking at the larger picture....there is absolutely no need to debate which is better or worse....and as far as remaking films is concerned....it is completely up to the makers....film-makers look to get the best possible outcome when they make a film....so although a pokiri might be a better film than wanted....wanted has made much more profit than pokiri....and let's not debate which is better or worse....'coz a mahesh babu fan will prefer pokiri whereas a salman fan will prefer wanted....a surya fan will like the tamil version whereas an aamir fan will prefer the hindi version of ghajini....there is no need to fight over which is better or worse....they are all films after all....jus' go and watch them and have fun....that's it..

Jail

The movie is excellent. NNM has given the National award winning performance. The highlight is Lataji's song. THe fealing, the rhethem, the thraw-all in tune. The song itself shows how untouchable she is for even today's singers! Its Gen Y's unfortune that todays' films are desperately missing her, and fortune that she, at intervals sings such valuable songs! Thanks to Madhur Bhandarkar for 'Data Sunle'! Go to jail without any hazitation, YES! From : Samit(Purvesh)Shroff

Raja Sen reviews
by Guest on Nov 10, 2009 05:39 PM

I guess it is high time Raja Sen stops writing the reviews. And of course Rediff Publishing it. Jail definitely deserves a better rating. Rest everything others have commented about.... I guess Raja sen is bribed heavily for writing these comments. Can Rediff atleast read other comments from other review providers before publishing this rubbish and people getting mislead.
