if everybody love to india,,,,,,,then why people die to go us,uk and other country,,,,why dont they stay in india only,,,,why dont they work for india only,,,,isnt it shamefull for us that we are working for other country,,,,this reflects that how poor we r,,,,we dont have jobs in our own country,,,,,isnt it shamefull that a GORA is boss,,,,

A son living in a family where the head is corrupt and miser and lazy and stupid. Then if the son leaves the family expecting the head will change soon that does not mean his links with the rest of family are severed.
i am proud of having AR rahaman .indian public had already given so called OSKAR to AR IN FORM OF LOVING HIS MUSIC WHICH IS FROM HEART, SOOTHING AND SERENE. iN CASE of AR , indians did not discover AR but unfortunately he got introduced to western world for prize winning oskar, through dark side of our beloved mother india.
Indian govt or BHC SHOUD ASK FOR Patenting this oskar winning misery and and produce many many more, make good business out of our enumerable dark sides in our culture and living conditions and living style.
iF ANY BODY INTERESTED IN another oskar call one white director with few NRIs make a movi on open air shitting in india and than dance on word stage and than down grade each other as southh indian Vs north indian ,tamil Vs hindi Vs marathi vS All availbe and spoken language in INDIA, INSTEAD OF finding and setting right- systems , people, practices , which are resposible for these oskar winning shames in our beloved country. Even GOD has stopped blessing india so we get 26/11 repeatedly. oN BEHALF OF HALPLESS POWERLESS insecure BHARTIYA NAGRIC,MANUS, THAMBI BHADRA MANUS etc etcs.
some people saying that SDM wasnt the rahmans best work,but rahman got the oscar,i want to clear one thing that rest of the world have never listened to rahman before, it was just like a surprize for them in the same way when we became suprized after listening roja and bombay,and background music was ultimate as usual,it was very much associated with the movie,if this music removed from the movie this movie will be nothing.

Also if one of the non best AR's work can get him an award what about his best? Also were any movie capable of reaching the shores of Oscar for which AR had the best music?

HE SHOULD HAVE WON ONE LONG AGO... I FEEL RangDeBasanti HAD A LOT OF CHANCE OF MAKING AN IMPACT AT THE OSCARS... Donno why it wasn't projected by the country.
Rahman did indicate to the TV channels that there is a strong divide between North and South and myself being been born and brought up in Bengal know this. If you cannot accept other than you own community due to the inferiority complex obviously you will never succeed. The success of Kalam, Anand, Dravid, Rahman etc., etc., is due to they have no inferiority complex like so many others. The glaring proof of this is the Indian Idol where only Mobile phones play the biggest role and South People do not participate itself makes a mockery of the whole lot including the judges .

In his oscar speech he said he had to chose between hate and love and all the time he chose love....why we fans who love rahman most of the times choose hate???
the oscar by indian music-director a.r.rahman is another story of over-confidence in indian text-books when it comes to brain-matters because india revolves around brainful youngsters who only give blood to it.it will be good if a.r.rahman shuts his mouth with bollywood stars if tamilians wants to show their face in cine film industry since he is the first music man to win oscar for india when it comes to problem-solving issue since we don't want to go below hindi peoples since we want our face to see straight and not see down when it comes in the matter of accidents and intellectual behaviopur's since we tamilians are better than hindi one's that's why tamilians love a.r.rahman in india.jai hind!
If anybody ready show the Indian poor people and the condition of slums, the western people will give more oscar.For example Laggan was nominated for the same. In that film finally the english people were defeated by an Indian. As a result the film was not even got a single oscar. But the slumdog was directed by an english man and got 8 oscars.
When compare with Laggan,whether this film is an great film????
My wish is the slumdog crew should adopt the slums in Mumbai and to improve the condition their working conditions. If it will happen we will happy about them.

why should the slumdog crew..its your country..u worry that some body is showing our slums to the world..u care so much u go clean...
And my friend understand that Lagaan was a hindi film so it can compete only in the category of best foregion film.So many foregion films are there.(as per OSCAR norms)..TRY making LAGAAN IN ENGLISH
Slumdog is a English film so it was able to compete in all the categories....

Oscar is not the benchmark for good films. Please understand this as Filmfare awards of the west. If you make a good english film from a foreign country it may not get recognised unless it is a hollywood production. Now tell me would u give an award to a hindi film made in Uk for the Uk audience by Britishers. No !! u would have reservations right? simple logic dude
