Vishal Bharadwaj is much more original that Rehman...listen to Omkara songs or music from Satya.

Listen is music and fill the poem in ur mother tongue. His songs will be awesome
today in an interview when asked about Illayaraja he told that IR is above oscars and his genius cannot be matched by anyone and he still considers him as a guru. IR might be more talented than ARR but IR is filled with ego and described ARR as a glorified sound engineer and refused to accept him as a composer. That is why i love ARR more than IR.

No disrepect towards ARR but he should have acknowledge Gulzar while accepting the award rather than that he thanked danny, acedamy etc. Anyways I guess it was not delibrate..Congrates to ARR.

Don't you think you have ego in you ?, it is all media hype man don't be silly. Even Rehman has ego in him but he very well knows the film industry politics that's why he is appearing as sadhu in from of media. He doesn't know to appreciate lyric writter and singer of the song Jai ho. he is unfit for praising his co workers. Oscar accademy has given him awards only to get huge market for this fim in biggest global market INDIA. Everything is bussiness VARU ji try to come and experience the real world, don'r be in cinematic imagination

The movie had already flopped in India when oscar was announced. So it has nothing to do with marketing or any such thing. Give some credit to someone who deserves it.

Both IR and ARR are talented, successful and yet spiritual men, prone to occasional faults. But compared to most they are extremely humble. Both are deserving aspirants to the hall of greatness. So let's not compare the two.
Like a true Indian, he attributed much of his success to his mother.We can understand that his mother played a very important role in bringing him up since he lost his father at a tender age.Rahaman is mesmerising the western audience with his music.But he is purely Indian by heart.Phir bhi dil hai hindusthani!!
