This movie be aimed at awards and few intellectuals.
For those who believe cinema is primarily for entertainment can stay away from this movie and those who r willing to see documentaries and those who are willing to see and digest all the nasty things Beggars do can watch this movie.
Hope Bala understands difference between Documentary and cinema.
Really this is so worst movie. I dont know waht bala did for three years with Arya. Arya dont have any scope in this movie. Pooja will get an award for sure for the climax performance. Total movie is 2 hrs. In that, arya will come for only half an hour, in that he speaks only for 5-10 min. Only thing,bala showed us the real life of people of beggars and disable peoples.

rohinikumar's best movies are kuruvi,villu,thirupachi,sivagasi,thirupathi,agun,..etc. i think that rohinikumar's favourite director is Perarassu
Really this movie is so worst. Please guys, dont see this movie. I dont know what bala did for three years with arya. I think arya wasted his carrier for three years.

Movie is good, we should appreciate Arya for his superb acting and Bala for is direction and Excellent music by our Illayaraja.

as per my opinion what Rohinikumar said is exactly right. This Bala is a stuip director & these Tamils are carzy audience. No.1 stupit movie of 2009. Be careful ! do not watch this Thagad movie

I think rohinikumar & twinkle are Vijay / Simbu fans.... thats y they couldnt digest a good movie like this.... obviously Vijay / simbu / vishal doesnt knw acting... their fans also jelous that ppl like Arya, Vikram , Surya, Jeeva are making spectacular roles like this...... if u dont like Bala, jst stay away frm here.... Our National Film Awards r not like MGR university... to giv Doctorate to Vijay & all.... Bala is an National award winner, do u knw tht???

Twinkle and Rohini's fav dialogues are Simbu's "thooki kaatri" and explanation abt sex in vallavan. they miss that a lot and thats why they are worried why arya spoke only for 5-10 mins. I am glad that they took their time off naayada nariyada and Arasi (who holds the record for most number of marriages in india) and to write something like this. For them the mega serial characters epitomise the strength of a woman and people like arya and bala who are brave enuf are stupid
we cant get a chance to see this type of movies...so we have to grap the chance...It's not a ordinary masala movie, which we generally see nowadays...Illayaraja deserves national award for sure... If u r bored seeing nowadays masala movies..go see this ...
fantastic movie..actually it shoul be given 5/5 points. Illayaraja is deserve for national award for music .OM shiv Om song is awesome. Nobody other than raja can score for this type of movie...

Well we can live like a cat which closes its eyes and believes the world to be dark. Bala had always been a good director though his main characters always border being superficial. It is good to have directors who are different from the stereotypes
Please ask the guy who reviews the movie if he knows Tamil or not ? Else confirm him if he sees Naan kadavul or SlumDog MIllionaire or Channdni CHowk CHOwk or Dev-D...Better wash your face and get away from sleep
