It is infact a nice and intelligent decision of Amitabh.
Even though I am a die heard fan of Amitabh I feel the apology by Jaya Bachchan and subsecuent views of Amitabh is really prudent choice. I feel Amitabh has gone far beyond an ICON image and he is followed by many at every point of time. Every words and action of Amitabh's family is very much associated with him. In order to keep up his image and stay away from any controversy he as done the best thing. We have already experienced in the recent past what way he has been harassed by the Income Tax Dept. at the instance of few vested interests.

we r first a INDIAN not a Marathi, Bihari......when we r in together we speak always in Hindi, like Indian Army, Indian Sports Team.....becz Hindi is the language which makes us unite, so u always respect Hindi and its not shmae for other people who does not speak Hindi, i think that we always respect all the languages in India, but when we get together, we must need a universal language that is HINDI..think that

so what do u think we shoud do forget our mother tongue and talk only in hindi. u want hindi to eat all our native languages like marathi, punjabi, gujarati, tamil, malayali,etc. i suggest everyone living in other states should try to learn the native language of that state rather than abusing that state and its peoples

raj thakare has gone mad i think, because, there are so many marathies are working in different parts of our country and are in very good positions if all other states people behave in the same way and kicked out of the state then what will happen to them, if he is that much concerned about maharastra why he is not helping the poor, why he is not fighting for corruption, why he speaks in hindi insted of marathi, why the bombay got growth for hindi filim industry and not for marathi filim industry, today bombay is so proud because of the other state people only think before doing any thing raj

Then why did not you establish your businesses, film industry in the north, say delhi. Because these cities were not capable of taking it. You politicians have screwed the entire system in the North. Thats why you have to go and beg in other states. I know what Raj & the Thackrey's are doing wrong, But then the opportunity was created by Jaya, Had it not been Raj, someone else (BJP/RSS/Shiv Sena/) would have done it. Criticising anybody's mother tongue is worst thing. People will show your aukaad.

no my dear friend, you need not hate your native state but the only thing required is that respect the state in which you live. i know there is a singer called ranjana who resides in jalandhar. she sings in her mother tongue malayali as well as 7-8 other languages. she is one of my favourite punjabi singer. follow her.
