Facts to de considered...
by ThinkPositive on Sep 11, 2008 11:05 AM  | Hide replies

There are few facts to be considered....
- It is well known that whatever the famous people speak in public is reviewed by their assistants before the statement is made.... Athough we may feel that their is instanteous speech.... its not the case.... it is reviewed many a times and then delivered...

By this i mean Jaya initially knew what she was going to speak... Also she was aware of the current situation in Maharashtra...

So why did she make this comment.. who will be profited..
1. Promotion of new film Drona... some what
2. SP in maharashtra.... yes.... more aggression from Raj... more the North People will hate him.... more the support to SP..
3. MNS... yes... People start critising Maharashtra instead of Raj .... so Maharashtrians are left with no option but to support Raj who seems to be fighting for their cause...

I think Bachchan shouldn't be involved in such cheap stunts... Apology is not the solution... Please dont commit it in the first place.

You are trying to test the nerves of Marathi people.... who have kept silent in all this year... hearing how the others are criticising them.

i think you are absolutely right. bachchans should not play at the hands of these politicians. they willingly or unwilllingly are doing so and becoming target of hate. moreover they should not have uttered such irresponsible comments.

Thackray's divisive politics
by narasimharao nanduri on Sep 11, 2008 09:01 AM  | Hide replies

We indians think that our's is the most cultured and unified country. We always say that our country has diversity in unity. But Mr.Amitabh and his family's recent controversies once again proves that ours is the most divided and most undemocratic country and no-one needs to destroy our country from outside. We are our own enimies. Why should Amitabh & his family be made scape goats just for making a casual remark without having any other ill intentions?Amitabh is a very humble and modest man of very high repute and some people in the film industry and some from the political field can't accept and digest that fact. And time and again they find a silly reason to bring him to disrepute. And coming to Raj Thackray's past and recent comments on Mr.Bachchan, what does he think of himself?A messaih of maharashtrians?Even his age is not close enough to Amitabh's experience. He is a bacha(child) and should behave himself. He thinks he owns mumbai and everyone has to take his permission to stay in mumbai. He still has these medieval thoughts. He is living in an illusion. He does not know that maharashtrians are a minority in mumbai and that is the reason mumbai is what it is.It is high time for him to realise that without outsiders mumbai would be a village full of idiots like him.Amitabh and his family are humble enough to offer an apology to all the maharashtrians and Raj should accept it and close the matter once and for all and start behaving himself like a mature man.

mr rao, dont bark there sitting abroad.
you do not know the realities and just poking your nose and talking like fake intellectuals.

no one can show disrespect to another ppl. if they do they should face consequences. so do nt give this tall talk about 'what does he think of himself'. he thinks of himself as a maharashtrian.
what do you think of yourself? Can you dare to say anything that suggests disrespect to the country where you are living now?
are you living in middle east? China? they will castrate you.dont abuse maharashtrians.

Let me give you an example,
An immigrant comes to Mumbai from Bengal
1) If he doesn't have place to live where will he live? He will build Jhopdi right?
Jhopdi todneka aur encroachment hataneka zimmedari kiska hai? BMC ka right? Kya karta hai BMC? Kuch nahi.
2) A poor peasant from Bengal comes to Mumbai and wants to eat, where will he buy his rice & ghaslet? From Hypermarket? Dmart? No he will buy it from Ration store coz tats the cheapest place for food. They cant buy unless and untill they have ration card. Who provides them ration card? Who is the one sitting behind the desk who accepts petty bribes and grants Ration card?
3) Election time guys, politicians want vote and these immigrants are given voting cards and politicians promise them that they would legalise their shanties/jhopdis.
4) Once legalised they take water connection/Electricity/Gas. Who gives them this facility?
5) Not just this they also get domicile certificate from Judiciary and now they become locals?
Is that poor immigrant's on fault or people who work for Rationing office/BMC/Police/Politician etc etc are on fault?
The problem needs to be addressed at different level, and mind you there are equal number of Marathi's than anyother language people involved in the government machinery.
I am not against free and fair immigration because our consititution have given us right to freely move and legally work and live in our country. Mind you LEGALLY!!!!!!

no wonder you and Raj show teh right taste and culture of Marathi manoos. no wonder you people are feeling threatened by out siders. no wonder people who are advocating for marathi language and its culture send their kids in other medium school. no wonder other towns and city of mumbai couldnt develop much where outsiders didnt go. For God's sake, like your own culture. Ask your leader to do the same. dont live in inferiority complex. Marathi has a great history. pls dont tarnish it by these kind of write ups. Ask your leader too to behave like at last a civilized national if not cultured

we needs a party like DMK or TDP, which promotes maharashtrian cause. Enough of this bullshit India or being part of India. Time to seek independance from India.

Amit, maharashtrians don't have inferiority complex, if any thing it is otherwise. We don't like to leave our state, as there are enough opportunitties in our state.
