It was a immature statement from a mature actor like Shahrukh i think he has more to than just getting in such statement war he has to represent the Country for better cause at the global platform so sharukh need to watchout
Dear all do u know this good news as Maharastra was given as DOWRY to this family good luck Maharastrians that means u r all slaves to him work hard as salary still exits i thought atleast it is over in Demo Inda.
the educated masses understand whats the motive of such articles. its the uneducated that really get carried away...
the educated masses express disgust but won't vote. finally the political parties manage to get the uneducated masses to vote in huge numbers and get their seats in politics.
its high time we exercise our right to vote and vote the right people
And SRK, if you've made that statement..Dude, you are not a Dilliwala, you are a world citizen..Its strange someone as mature as SRK would confine himself as a dilliwala only
I'm really surprised at the lack of knowledge of the thakreys... There is no official or Un-official ban on Hindi or Hindi movies in Tamil nadu. We get to see all the latest releases of bollywood in Tamil Nadu. Even today, as I write this all the multiplexes in Tamil Nadu are having atleast 8-10 shows of the latest Hindi flicks. But when u go to Delhi, Punjab or Madhya Pradesh U do not get the latest Tamil movies except maybe of Rajnikanth or Kamal Haasan. So the truth is something totally different.

Because in Delhi or Punjab.....there is only 1% population knowing Tamil, Telgu.......so multiplexes show films to earn money n not to loose........but in Tamil Nadu......hindi population is more......n few tamil people tooo understand hindi n watch bollywood movies........

well the same ppl (1%)ensured that Sivaji was a bigger hit than Jhoom Baraber Jhoom...Anyway, 1% of 100 crores is also a big thing...
If we leave Shiv-sena and thakreys aside; I still think that root of this problem lies into disintegration of outsiders into Marathi population. Multiculturalism is a good thing for progress of state (as Maharashtra made progress because of that); however one should never underestimate sentiments of local population.
Degradable remarks made by outsiders to local population do not help.
A large population of Marathi people resides into Gujarat and Karnataka; however they have mixed themselves into local population by learning their language. Why same cannot be true other way around?
On the other hand one should not go into extreme of alienating outsiders as Tamil did in case of everyone else.
Any sensible Indian would understand the motive behind such statements, that is to gain attention and show their illegitimate power. Mahrashtra is a great state and offers means of livelihood to many. For me, I'm moving within the country, and still being reprimanded for the same. Why should maharashtrians learn from Southern states or Assam. Learning is always for progress and not disgrace!! The condition of Assam is such that the lesser said is better. South is becoming more and more self sufficient, they like their food, their movies and are content with that, but yes could do with a little bit of tolerance to start with. One should be true to his / her roots, but our actors take it to another level by making irrational statements. When Shivsena or MNS wreak havoc because of such issues, Jaya Bachchan would be safe in the confines of her house, but the poor autorickshaw wallah from UP will be beat to pulp. As far shahrukh's issue is concerned, it has been 100% propelled just 2 add fuel to fire. We "migrants" love Maharashtra, its the mother which has given us bread. Please dont hurt us or her anymore.
