We do not agree with their wording but we should not fail to see the frustration and anguish behind these utterances. When you go outside your native place(I am not saying state) and you have decided to stay a long while in that place you have adopted, it is good and right to mingle with the local population and the easiest way to do so is to learn the local language. Everybody loves his mother tongue, it is natural. When you expect others to respect this sentiment of yours, you should learn to appreciate it in others too.
Bal thackray & raj .....pls stop this nonsense...U people dont hav any work...u try to disturb the society...pls do some meaning ful work to get power..this is not d way. MNS attacked symbosis school for not playing nation anthem...schools are like temple when u ppl take respect temple how we should trust u..This is not the correct way to protest..

InTemple you should pray the soil's song. You feeble heart, why are you reading wrong way. It is law of India to play the anthem... if goverment is not taking any action someone has to raise the voice .... Temple should not be for wrong purpose.

i completely agree with u. the government needs to take a step on this kind of ill provocation & i think educated ppl like jaya bachachan & sharuck khan needs to be extra careful before opening their mouth. appologizing after the statment doesnt help, the damages are alredy done. c'mon man, what kind of impression we (indians)are giving to the world. I stay in Dubai & my friends, who are from diferent parts of this world are asking me about all this "funny" incidences. it gets embarssing sometime, but who care !!! right ??? what we are botheredc about is who said what & who did what, that it. guyz we need to grow up & concentrate on making the country a better place rather than wasting our time on such foolish topics. hope Mr. Bal Thackerey & the Bachchans & the Khans read this & try to understand the situation.

exactly i agree with this,the genaral ppl of maharashtra know this things better and they should raise the issue.its only a cheap publicity stunt nothing else. Mumbai is the city of india not maharashtra.We should think as indian not should be a regional bias.stop nonsense,think positive.

He says that hindi films are banned in South India and hindi speaking are being killed in Assam. Well.. are these 2 things comparable? As a matter of fact hindi films are not banned, they are not promoted because of huge cultural differences in Southern and Northern India. So far as Assam is concerned, only people from bihar are being targetted and not all North Indians. That of course has some socio economic reasons.. but then you can never justify killing anyone.
Raj Thackerey says that drive away (or possibly kill) north Indians or hindi speaking people. Tell him that movie industry in Mumbau makes only HINDI movies and not any other movies. Why does not he go and set up a film industry for Marathi movies in Maharashtra? Its not about being hindi or marathi or bihari...its about seeking for votes by pulling cheap topics out of nothing.
Can he drive multinationals away because the official languages in there are not what he wants to them be?
We have seen enough of Shiv Sena's politicak gimmick!!! They vowed they would not allow Pakistani cricket team to play in India. In fact they came and won the test series. These paople have absolutely no power outside Maharashtra...

I was amused to hear her reply in one sentence. She just told "Raj is most stupid person in Maharashtra". Without creating any hatred I want to convey that I have started to feel that people living abroad are more Indian than people living in country. I miss my country irrespective of the fact that she has to be cured of diseases like Raj thakre, Lalu, Mulayam, Mayavati, karunanidhi, jayalalitha et cetra.
