As long as celebrities don't have a negative influence on the society, one shudn't unnecessarily target them. Yes, Jaya Bachchan's comments were totally uncalled for, that too she being a famous public figure and an MP. But, please leave out people who don't make such statements (like SRK) and who don't make any comments that would affect the regional sentiments of the people.
On the contrary, the MNS should be targeting corrupt officials, etc who actually are public offenders. The passion with which MNS workers go about propagating love for Maharashtra and its culture, they can direct it towards bringing down corruption that is rampant in the society.

For your information MR Thackery, Hindi flims and hindi news are not banned in Tamil Nadu. IN chennai you can find some cinema halls which only release hindi movies. Even in schools you have a choice to either take hindi/tamil/sanskrit/french as your 2nd language. Kindly get your facts right before you comment about a issue.

I wanna express my concern over what is happening to Maharashtra and India as a whole. These people who claim that they are doing all this in the name of being maharashtrian or whatever,,,,do they understand what they are speaking. these dogs are just barking on their masters advice....they claim that their part is theirs....how long are they going to live on to it...max a 100yrs(i suppose thats the max life time u can have.)...why the hell they dont understand that they are here to just play their role and go back..
why has politics become so bad...it was a thing for the intelligent people like chanakya...but now asses like Raj are also doing it....god save this country and the individual states..

His TV show was a big flop. He did not have a hit movie in years. His last movie was long ago and he has no movie coming up any time soon. Why is he still considered a star? He fought with Sallu which baically was the provervial last straw. Why is shiv sena wasting valauble time flogging a dead horse?
Anyone living anywhere, please use the word "Originally". Example "I live in Mumbai, but originally from delhi". This eliminates any confusion and regionalism and also proves where you are where you came from.
Raj Thakerey was the one who organized Michael Jackson show in Mumbai when Sena-BJP was in power from 1995 - 2000. I donno where was his Maharshtrian culture when he organized Miachel Jackson show and made money in the name of youth development. Does any one from MNS and Shiv Sena tries to reach the grassroot levels and do any social work? WHy do they only live in Mumbai and not in some village of Maharashtra? If someone has a will to make positive difference then he should be like Baba Amte and his family who are true Maharshtrians simple / down to earth / peace loving and doing great work without any show off. Thackreys live lavish life , enjoy parties and drinks and everything related to bollywood and entertainment and hardly do any social work to make a real difference and keep harping about maharashtrian cause. all crap

You're right. Most people (of course except MNS and Shiv Sena) share your sentiments. I guess Raj was speaking with Michael Jackson in Marathi! :-)
Sena leaders are hypocrites-- their children study in English Schools, not Marathi. Instead of doing good work to win voters' hearts and minds, they prefer goondagiri and create division among people of different regions.
Can they prove that they are loyal to Maharashtra and Marathi Manus by not buying any product that's manufactured in other states?
