I do not understand why UP and Bihar do not want to develop their states and put burden on other states. They do not pay tax to government in UP and bihar even if they pay some all it is eaten away by their ministers. then all these people come to the states like Maharashtra, Gujarat and Karnataka to earn where they stay illegally use water and electricity free and work with low wages. This deprives local people jobs because local people are paying tax to the government. It is better if person from that states stays in his state and develop their own state. I support all states who are proud of their language and state culture

'jai maharashtra' sounds normal right?
why does jai punjab, jai bengal, jai madhyapradesh, jai UP sound unfamiliar.. because the rest of the country goes 'JAI HIND'

Insights on the so called ''Ntional Language - Hindi''
by Joe Pishy on Sep 09, 2008 10:54 AM  | Hide replies

Some info for ppl on this message board who claim that Hindi is the National Language:

The constitution on India does not specify a "National Language". Article 343 of the constitution specifies that the OFFICIAL LANGUAGE of the Union shall be Hindi in Devanagari script.

So ppl get that.. there is no NATIONAL LANGUAGE..There are just OFFICIAL LANGUAGES...even if thats what u learned in some faulty text-books...
And in the Union of India, there are *15* OFFICIAL LANGUAGES..

And for ppl who do not know the OFFICIAL Languages, They can find it on any Currency Note ISSUED by RBI..

So ppl, before u make any such statements, try to check what the CONSTITUTION has to say...

Cheers!!!

Instead of understanding the games of politicians we fall prey to their divisive games again and again. This makes us unworthy of a democratic framework.Don't blame the illiterate voters.the contributors in this message boards are equally bad as far as partisan attitudes are concerned
