Im rather happy for pasupathy.. a really talented actor.. who was for long wasted in roles that only required him to use his vocal chords to its maximum decibel levels and acting jst to look menacing..
His real acting prowess was prooven well in Mumbai exp, Virumandi and another film with Jeeva.. great goin pasupathy!!

jacques kallis is a blind boy....and have only 5 sense....if he is genuine to all...then he'll think and speak abt rajini with vijay.... Vijay even told to media once...some are comparing me to superstar seat but i think whether i'm valuable for that and Rajini Sir is the only superstar....
No One can bet our Superstar in acting & his popularity around the world, even Kamal, vijay, Ajith & vikram all are waste when compared to Rajni, And rajni is the king of boxoffice and he collects revenue as no other indian movies would collect.

Hey man that is correct..
But if one tamilian watches four times a single movie..then that is hit..and that is what happens with Rajni. He is an excellent actor..but u cannot say Indian movies..and to be little harsh..Shivaji..is not a roaring success and it is not much as chandaramukhi... shivaji was just overhyped because of the combo...otherwise it is pretty oridnary film of indian cinema..

Rajni movies tend to pull the crowd to watch it for the next time also...even a autowala who is earning very less will watch rajni movies atleast 3 times.his movies are the biggest entertainers....have u seen anybody watching OSO for dhoom 2 for 3 times ???still u ppl say OSO and D2 is superhit..its becoz of the wide audience for bollywood movies .bollywood movies are released worldwide, after 1 month DVD comes out and in next 3 month sony TV shows that movie..and most of the bollywood movies are considered hit only abroad..becoz ppl in dollars for watching those movies.. even if the movie runs for 2 weeks in abroad the producer can make the money wat he has invested.Try releasing a bollywood movie only in India and make it a hit or ever seen any bollywood movie running for 100 days ?? it runs for 3 -4 weeks and considered a superhit.

Well, some pepul will put up rajnikanth against srk by comparin both of their biggst hits recently.
SRK wnted OSO to be the biggest hit movie coming out, and rediff rumor mills come out w/stuff like "will OSO beat sivaji", in which sivaji ws the biggest hit in india alone. Also first time for rajiniknth, tht his movie is in top 10 in u.k box office for the 1st week.
Sivaji ws a vry big budgeted movie anyway, and i don't see wher in the movie tht proves how big budgeted this movie is excpt for costumes(manish malhotra-bollywood designer)4 rajinikanth, lavish set ups(all music), special effects-to prove rajinikanth is not old yet and cn still do those scenes.
So, sivaji ws alrdy a hit b/f the release and guessing from the t.v rights to the movie, thy must hav alrdy recovrd the cost of the movie. On top of this, fans seein the movie a million times.
But OSO had no story but it ws just all hype from numerous promotions and dard-e-disco previews, contests, fashion shows(OSO fashion line),premieres,etc... So fans wer actually forced to go see the movie b.c srk and team ws just evrywer.
But point noted, OSO cannot run continously like sivaji does for days at theatres.

I do agree w/the viewpoint of why sivaji ws a huge sucess b.f the movie gt released.
Shankar and rajinikanth teaming up for the first time, and evry1 knows shankar and his films. Also, a.r rahman music and rajinikanth's numerous get ups also hyped the movie.
Behind the phenomenon's veil, the story ws simple and it had a good message and it ws one of those political bad guys framing and destroyin and ordinary citizen. So a little bit of shankar's "mudhalvan" mixed in w.sivaji.
But the realy hype ws the rahman's songs and lavish costumes and get ups. The waiting for the bad guy to be ultimatly killed by rajinikanth, as always done in his movies. Otherwise, a simple political story.

yeah..have you see Shah rukh khan's films....they are worse crap. And each of you north indians watch them 10 times. Have yu seen the berline films festival recently. SRK's movie got kicked out, whereas a very low budget tamil film (paruthiveeran) ran like mad in berlin.
You north indians who spit paan all over the road, and dont follow any rules anywhere, shd not talk abt tamilians watching rajni movie many times. Even if it is watched , it doesnt hurt anyone. You guys spit paan all over and thats why mumbai is the 7th dirties city in the world
