You really lighted up our lives with your definition of simplicity and love. You are the true messiah who is winning all our hearts with your simplicity, innocence, charm and love. Under such dreadful circumstances that hit the nation all the year round, it is only this PUNJABI SURINDER POWER that is lighting up our lives, with his magical touch.
I saw the movie last weekend............and am still confused to give it an outright winner status or not, it is funny in parts and has some tender romantic moments but it's emotionally over stretched and a bit overdone.......director should have kept it simple and funny rather than going into too much of alter-ego, dual roles, contrasting characters.........music is catchy and u feel like tapping your feet, ending credits are very cute and lovely....... but above all 'Surinder Sahni' is too good...........one more thing, directors- please avoid close-ups of SRK, his wrinkles fly all over his face...........
RNBDJ broke the weekend collectins for dhoom 2 in just threedats time, not haule haulee that too wthout taran adarsh publicising dhoom 2 the first day first show. strange enogh , how sch a simple stor drewattention of people all over the world without any hype, controversies, distorted story , hip hop story, hinglish lyrics etc. etc. etc....................... yaarthis is INDIAS SURINDER POWER.
Unfortunately...I'll have to agree with Raja Sen for the first time... I felt that this is overall an average movie. Starts off pretty decent with SRK as the simple geeky dude but goes downhill from the moment he turns into 'Raj' n hams then on. The heroine is...well hopeless...even though she seems to have gone through the tragedy of tragedies.. SRK cries more than her...infact the only two times she sheds a few glycerin drops is first when she hogs down some gol gapaas and once more in the last "tum hi mere rab ho" scene. remaining time she flashes her smile, stares blankly all over or acts cute... Having said that... I felt the only guy who really did his job well, was Vinay Pathak...what an awesome actor..he rocked!!!

Avinash, I haven't seen the movie and probably won't either, but please do not disparage the audience with comments such as these. You are an individual with your likes and dislikes, as are the rest. There is no need to call others "bewakoof".
Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi has netted around 25 crore in its first weekend in India. The Mysore circuit has seen record business. Delhi/UP and East Punjab have seen the second highest first weekend totals after Singh Is Kinng. Mumbai circuit is behind Golmaal Returns, Om Shanti Om and Singh is Kinng.
The film is a sure shot hit and is the most profitable film of 2008 but it remains to be seen how far its Indian theatrical business can go. The opinion in the trade is divided on this as some say it will fade pretty fast from Monday onwards while others say it will settle down after the initial resistance from the youth audience.
Mumbai circuit has seen 10.50 crore business, Delhi/UP is 5.50 crore, East Punjab is 2.75 crore, CI is 65 lakhs and Mysore is 1.10 crore. Bihar and CP Berar have fared the lowest and business is Average in these circuits.
WE ARE SURE IN A MOOD FOR CELEBRATIONS FOR ALL THE RESULTS COMING ONE AFTER THE OTHER FOR RNBDJ. THESE ARE RESULTS AND NOT PREPARATIONS. WHERE ARE YOU RAJA SEN? WE ARE MISSING YOU. RAB NE TO DIKHADI KAMAL IN JUST THREE DAYS TIME MR. SEN. ARE YOU STILL IN THE COUNTRY?
