A must must see movie...You may have heard its sequel but stupidity.....I say It is one of the flawless movie[Dil Chahta was having so many..] made in Bollywood. Here truth is shown with tight direction by director with no mistakes at all [May be very minor]. A truth in life is chasing dream at any condition....Just see and check the same...I think other film directors should learn from this film.
Guys , I m NO movie critic . but this is what i thought of the movie . I had posted this in another bollywood forum.
The movie starts with a bit of strained relationship between Farhan and prachi , she realises that He is not happy and theats whn she discovers his past and tries to bring back happiness back in his life !
The first half of the Movie is a bit slow. but the movie picks up pace when The friends start leaving their ego aside and come back together . Once the movie gathers pace it keeps u hooked on to each and every scene thats happening on the screen.
The second half of the movie has some twists ,which some of u might find a predictable , ditto for the climax but still u'll love the movie for its treatment . the relationships , how they change with time , The changes in the personalities of the lead actors are handled very well by the Director. The movie has some hilarious moments . The one when The band members are playing aashiqui song in a dandiya raas Had the entire crowd in splits.
the entire crowd in the theatre was cheering the band's performance in the climax .
Its a movie that will make u smile , that will make your eyes moist while u cheer for them in the climax. Now for the Performances Farhan Akhtar ,The actor is here to Rock ,and Rock Big time ! He handles the complex role with great maturity . His dialogue delivery is really good especially in that scene where he talks about compromises .

How multitalented cn a guy be ? A great Director , a really good actor , singer , Guitar player ! He is definitely amongst the top 2 contenders for the Best debut award. Now this is for all those girls who drooled over Srk's Six pack abs . Farhan akhtar has a really well toned physique (certainly one of the best in bollywood)and yes , he has a six pack too. The only difference here is that the producers didnt make a big hue and cry fabout it for the sake of publicity. Purab He is the guy who with his boyish charm brings the comic relief to the movie (no he is not used as a joker ).He has the best one liners in the movie.he has done a wonderful job.
Luke Luke Kenny delivers a good performance too .
Arjun Rampal He is the surprise package of the movie . This is his best performance so far. He is the guy who gets the loudest cheers in the climax . why ? u better see the movie. One more thing , He actually knows to play the guitar. he learned it for this movie. He strums one ore two songs with correct chord progressions.
Prachi Desai She is a sweet heart . She looks pretty and acts well too . she probably has the toughest role in the movie and she does really well.she is a definite contender for the best debut award.
Music as we all know the music by SEL is great . suits the movie really well.
Now the real hero of the movie , Abhishek Kapoor . Hats off to him man ! Must Watch My Rating 8/10

I watched the movie yesterday. Really loved the movie. The concept was good though many people will argue that it has shades of 'dil Chahta Hai'....Farhan was really brilliant in his all round package, but I loved Arjun's character and his potrayal the best. Arjun has really given the best performance of his life! The last 15-20 minutes of the movie is sheer magic.....it brings smiles to all. Great movie to watch, don't skip it.

Agar samajhta nahi to bolneka nahi, chup chap baithne ka. after a long period we have seen such a good movie, those who call it 3rd class are idiots.

excellent movie shweta....dont miss it for ur life....u will cheer the guys on screen in the end...bets.
industry still depends on srk to deliver a big hit from a good movie...SIK was all hype and it crashed after a couple of weeks plus movie was not good...still its SRk who gives hits through good movies like Chak De...other than that bollywood usually gets hits out of the weekend crowd in multiplexes for a new movie which does not really say whether the movie is really good or not...

bhai ... the public is coming to terms about movie watching discipline and i would say that lately the youth has been making their chocies clear .... crap is still accepted bcoz the viewing public is in a transformation phase and it wont be long that only sensible and entertaining movies will be accepted....

no this has been going on for a fgew years now...public wants timepass on the weekends...with good economy in last 3-4 years they are willing to spend rs.200 to see even a bakwaas movie for timepass in the multiplex-mall...and then the directors of small budget movies start saying things like their movie is a hit when it gets 70-80% auedience during the first weekend...the lower limit to when movie can be declared a hit needs to be raised...also, good movies that become hits are still a rarity..usually they come from SRK's movies and sometiumes through Aamir's movies...nothing has changed much in last 15 years...
