Rock on, best movie of 2008 easily simply because of its content, direction, music and finally acting. I always wanted and dreamt of someone making a movie on a musical band and abhishek kapoor has done exactly the same. Yes the movie is little bit slow but I was glued to the whole movie because of excellent performances by rampal, purab and finally farhan. I appreciate Farhan for his devotion towards his role. He has shown that he believes in perfection as he went on to sing most of the songs so that it suits his character in the film. Above all the music of the film, tremendous, I have grown up listening to metal and rock songs of Metallica and Linking park where guitar was at its best and this was something I didnt expected in Hindi music, but shankar ehsaan loy proved me wrong. Guitar has been used at its best which gives that metal feel to all the songs. Truly a movie that will earn a lot of fame in overseas than in our own country because in India you will find rock fans in Mumbai,delhi,banglore,kolkatta, in these places film will definitely impress the youth.

Well said buddy boy..Rock is a language in its own right..Ppl say that Rock ain't rampant in the country.. But most of my friends n their friends are into Rock music besides others..n this discussion forum itself goes on to show that Rock music is not alien to us ! Good goin..

People of India got bad taste. Chamku is not bad movie at all, much better then 1 star and Rock on 4 star movie not! just an average movie. Copy copy! Bollywood what a fake and brainless industry. Can you guys make atleast one original movie in a year. Oh sory, this too much. May be in two years. Ok?

Sunny bhaiya who said rock on is a copy....its not ur mistake when you can like chamku then what else can i say....hv u tried mithuns movie...it will be more interesting.
Friday I went to PVR Saket and PVR City Select, response SOld Out till Monady eveining show.
Saturday ....Satyam Neheru Place .... sold out till Monday morning show.......!
On Sunday I was determind to catch it anyway. But failed again for consecutively three days. status PVR Rivoli - SOld out till Wednesday late night show. In the evening again visit PVR Priya ..... and as expected a big hording hang on 'SOLD OUT till Tuesday late night show" .... but I was so desperate to watch the movie, I was hang around there for at least two hours and finally succeed, when a couple had to return home due to their baby is sick and searched someone who can buy it and I jumped to them and grab a ticket on actual. My three days hard work not gone waste, it's worth to watch. Rock On !! rockkssssssssss.
