Roshan bros, please stop this non-sense
by BollywoodPlusPlus on Apr 11, 2008 09:19 PM

First of all Rajesh Roshan is a 3rd grade music director, and copying the music from Ram Sampath (people who have heard Colourblind, they will agree what Ram Sampath really is), they have the temerity to accuse RS for strangulating them days before the release of the movie. They better suffer! Fortunately for his brother, else Rajesh Roshan doesn't belong to the current generation of music directors. He is still stuck in cheesy 70's.
So the Senior Roshan bros, please stop this non-sense. I am lookin fwd to Hrithik dancing to the tunes made by Ram Sampath some day!

No doubt only the songs in d movie was little hit. only the sings were running n now if the film is going to be released without music it will surely b a flop show. A film without songs which made it a hit - ha ha ha ha !! Its better to watch " U Me Aur Hum "

i don't know how many songs there are in the album but if the roshans were giving a guarantee of 25 lakh (10% of the guarantee they themselves had), i think it was a fair share.

Think about it. A creates a jingle. B uses that tune as the first two lines or so and creates the rest of the song. I don't know if the song itself would be able to earn 2.5 crore (unlikely) for the film.

Even if we assume it does (based on the existence of the guarantee), there are other lines in the song and other words - so the song's success has to be shared by the instrumentalists, lyricists, singers, etc. The jingle composer cannot claim to have 80% success of the song. It is as if he is claiming that a song does not have any other pieces. A music director should know better. He is actually denigrating the art that feeds him.

Therefore, in this, I am with the roshans, in light of the fact that they offered him a good price.
