Ban SMS based shows

Indian Idol has divided the northeast for the sake of TRPs and Monetary benefits. Sony is responsible for this. Let there be a PIL against Sony and ask them to pay for the ill feeling created. Javed Akhtar defending and saying Prashant is Indian Idol is meaningless because he has not touched the hearts of people at an all India level. He is only Sony's Indian Idol or Sony's sms idol. Just see the percentage of votes regionwise. The last thing we want is racial slurs.

Can we stop this idiotic behaviour of taking out procession in the name of celeberation and religion.I think enough is enough.Society is looking at all those tamasha with disgust and not any respect.Taking law into their own hand and giving excuses should be stopped.

India is a country where
Importance is not given important persons
Importance is not given to important communities
Importance is not given to real poor people
Importance is not given to real problems like population, water, pollution, corruption%u2026etc

Only importance is given to politicians, cricketers, and few other stupid issues, which are not worth mentioning.

Someone criticised Lord Rama, and questioned the very existence, and no one came out in protest. But protest broke out when someone critised 'Indian Idol'.
What a shame... what a country is ours !!

Due to people like Dipak Bose, many Indians in the North East and the Himalayas feel alienated from mainstream India, because people like Dipak Bose don't consider these North East people and the Himalayan people of India as Indian Citizens and always abuse them sayin " chinkis". Wake up Mr. Bose

Yede, Srinand, people did protest when the controversy of Sri Ram erupted. Don't talk like a politician. What worries me more and you should also worry is the fact that when Rediff ran an article about 77% of working Indians surviving on less than Rs. 20/- per day, nobody protested - LK Advani did not stage a walk-out in the Parliament. Where was Bal Thackeray and Mr. Narendra Modi. Pathetic - nobody condemned the atrocities against the poor. Protests, dharnas, strikes, bandhs, etc. should be for such things if we want to make this country a great country.

Crazy Boys

I wonder why the people are crazy about such programs. Of course, they are good to listen. For every sundries the TV Channels asks to send a message. Do you know how much do they get? Each message will fetch them not less than Rs.3-4. On an average they make about Rs. 2.00 crores in every episode. And what they spend is a pittance. The crazy ones who send SMS must think about this and stop it. Leave it to the Judges to decide who is good, better, best.
And a quarrel for no reason whatsoever is ridiculous. Becoming a FAN of XYZ is not bad but taking law in to their hands and blocking an Ambulance cannot be justified. Afterall, ones life is more precious than the IDOLS.

Firstly India and Indians ignore the north-east on all the cases. The politicians to ignore the north-east.
Their contribution to India in the Army is much more than any other state.
But we hardly discuss about them on newspaper or Tv. This is one kind of first boom news for north-east and that time the racist RJ comments.
No doubt india is secular, everybody has the right to speak, but not to take advantage of media and comment. If you think you have rights, then everyone has rights to react.
I feel pity on Indian govt, as they cant handle the situation. it is high time we take care for all the state else no doubt india will further be divided on the cost of democracy.

I am not from north-east, FYI.

I am from North-east.
Still i believe whatever has taken place is wrong...
We Indians are emotional, no matter from which part of India we belong....
Hence all channels which cash on the emotional sentiments of Indians should be banned....
And programs like Indian Idol, Voice of India and Zee Saregamapa etc are programs which bring about regionalism in all parts of India...
We have seen how truly deserving candidates had to bid good-bye coz of all this SMS culture...
Decissions should rest on experienced people, proficient in this field to encourage budding talents...
Hence we find that people selected through such a process failed to carve a niche for themselves in later parts of their life....
Aur yeh duniya hamesha ugte huye suraj ko salam karte hai, later they forget...
We have seen such a case with the Indian Cricket Team.
Now they are at the top of the world portrayed by various news channel but as soon as they failed to deliver, these same News channel will blacken their fate to shame....
Hence we all should be logical...

the RJ referred to tamang winning idol as "chowkidar se idol tak".

Tamang is a Nepali and they are normally associated with watchman's job. So they found it derogatory.
