Yeah, so what Abhilash? Amitabh had indeed become a grandfather before he acted in Nishabd. That did not force you to shout at the top of your voice.... why didn't you criticise Amitabh? May be because whatever he did was acceptable but Sivaji's success is intolerable... tsk tsk Abhilash... put your prejudice to rest and utter facts.. One rule for Amitabh or Hrithik and another for Rajini or Mohan Lal.. why so? May I ask? Which other Thatha have you seen dance with such vigour as he did in the first song of Sivaji? Even I did not care but there was a TV programme on how Sivaji was made and it was not just the Director or Producer (they could easily afford to praise him because he was the hero and superstar and could hence afford to act as his lackeys), but other technicians, unit members, choreographers etc. kept on praising his energy and hardwork, when he is past 60 now. If you have any other actors doing this feel free to praise that actor also. Remember this, at this age, even Amitabh is afraid of doing a younger hero's role, not so Rajinikanth or Kamal. Only Dilip Kumar was so energetic when he was past 50 or so in movies like Gopi etc. By any stretch of Rajini is a very hardworking actor (even if he is not my fav actor). Criticise or comment based on facts, not because you have some allergy towards any actor.
rajini is alwayz one step ahead than all da the stars of india, bcoz he's a phenomena.... unlike most of the stars from north, v r forced to c dem evryday in cheap TV commercials but for rajini v c him only in movies, v hav 2 pay 2 c him n dat 2 he hits da screen once in 2 r 3 years jus like a real bluemoon, anything wit rajini really rocks coz he's a phenomena. dis forum by itself is an xample, jus c da kind of response dis forum has generated...

Here I agree completely, not just Rajini, very few or probably none of the actors in Tamil and Malayalam that I know are doing this chaddi/banian ads like Hrithik or Salman, sell oil like Amitabh or toothpaste like Vishvasundari Aishwarya Rai (gosh what class or the lack of it from such superstars). Worse of it all, the better movies that Aishwarya Rai has done seem to be more in Tamil or other South Indian languages (Kandukondain Kandukondain, Iruvar) than in Hindi.

even jackie chan comes in cartoon network ...Rajni is the next superstar to be animated after jackie chan ....
