Mohanlal was supposed to do the villain role in Sivaji,but it did not happen for obvious reasons.Rajini was terrified that Mohanlal would steal the thunder from him.

Dear tamil friends.. dont reply to this stupid northies comments. its only just our waste of time. they r only jealous.. U northies call a person as ur superstar who is acting 4 movies a year with 4 cr salary in which 3 r flops and 1 is average hit and his movies make only 10 cr in box office. ur star has only 18 fan clubs in whole india and u say he is a Global star everybody knows bla bla bla ..just having the premier shows in UK for flop movies dosent mean he is a global star..shut up and go to ur junk bollywood forums and praise ur Big B and small B. We have a star who takes 20 cr for a movie and his movie make 200-400 cr in just 100 days. even the total collection all ur bollywood movies made in 2007 cant get near that one movie sivaji made in box office. The total number of bachan fans in this whole world is not even equal to number of fan clubs superstar rajni has. Those words u ppl say that rajni cant act,hez black etc. just shows u ppl only jealous. Better dont get hurt and burn ur asses in this forum..watever u say u cant deny rajni is the superstar and far far better than any Big B. so shut up and go other bollywood forums..therez one intresting forum rediff has written 2 days back "Amitabh, pls retire" . go there and fight with rediff.

Cinema unlike a cricket team has space for everyone. Its not like youngsters are not in the playing 11. or an old actor is blocking a budding actor. There is no CAP on the number of films one can act!!!! and its not a sport or profession where one has to retire at a certain age. Will, stamina and market determines the longitivity of an ACTOR. Rajni kanth does 1 film in 2 years, how much blocking does that do!!!!!! If thats the arguement then the same goes for Amitabh too

this boooollywood and the other southern movie industry are the laughing stock of the entire world.
movies never made any country great, the just make the actors & directors rich.
america is No.1 due to the scientists (270 nobel prizes), enterpeneurs (300 largest companies) & sportsmen (2700 olympic medals), not due to hollywood.
take a look at china, they are emphasizing education, economy & sports.....not churning out zillions of 3rd rated movies yearly.

errrr....with so many movies made, why is not a single movie camera, sound editing, lighting or other equipment produced ? only the americans, japanese & germans seem to be able to make the movie hardware, which is the real difficult job....acting in films is so easy, any moron can do it.

Hello all you rajini fans.I have one question.I saw in the movie that Rajini says a dialogue "pgis will come as a group and Lion comes alone".Then why he comes with a group of his followers in movie Basha, I think he is a pgi at that time and now turned Lion ? Also in the same movie he dances with a group of side dancers..Does it mean he becomes a pgi in dances and Lion when he is acting ..Pls pls answer this question. BTW pgi is an english word just jumble 3rd and second letters

by trying to criticise Rajini's movies overtly, you seem to accept whatever is shown in movies, especially Rajini's movies to be true. Please remember a movie is the following: a fictitious story, dramatization and picturization of that fictitious story, its final enactment and presentation on screen with fictitious characters by the production team. So when the characters themselves are fictitious, all actions of theirs, whether it is the dialogue, or actions such as leading 50 persons or leading none are all false and are to be seen only with the view point of getting entertained. Why the hell, are you getting so serious with cinema. But feel free to like or dislike any movie you like any actor you like. Commenting the way you do is not at all constructive. I think you are over-presuming the fans of an actor be it Rajini or Amitabh to be blind or being illogical. They are the fans of the actor's personality and they like his acting and get maximum enjoyment from that actor's movies, STRICTLY IN COMPARISON TO ANY OTHER ACTOR. He is neither a pig or a lion, just a professional who earns his wages (perhaps a lot more than others), for performing fictious roles and characters in cinema. It is only because of what he does being lapped up eagerly that his movies are bigger hits than those of other actors. If you ask me, Sivaji Ganesan was better than MGR, but MGR's movies were bigger hits, same is the case between Amitabh and Sanjeev Kumar or Naseer.
