this is especially for rediff. the malayalam version of this movie was released in 1993 alright. but a kannada movie remade after the malayalam original in 2004 was a super duper hit. and which inspired rajni to remake it into tamil and telegu. and then followed hindi. so get the cronology right...........malayalam version , followed by kannada, then tamil and telegu and now hindi. got it rediff news givers.

After the Malayalam movie, it was remade in Kannada with Dr Vishnu and Soundarya in lead and was a blockbluster. Seeing this Rajnikanth remade this movie in Tamil. Also why deleberately leave out the details when it comes to Kannada movies? Get out of your biased rotten lives...

Hip gyrations of those girls in the music was nothinbg less than those porno video.those moves are nothing new but can't even if that s director has peanut sized brain also could have realised that there millions of words he can play and nobody would be bothered too.
