really unfortunate and dangerous in the long run.....Even if 'dum maro dum' was filmed in an objectionable way , are we bound to replicate our cynic activities which can not only hurt the feelings of people for whom this pious cladding really do mean something but also it can inflammate the heart of tolerant hindu followers.I suggest who so ever is in the censor board should be sued as it has the responsibility of filtering out the unwatchables.

If the song had been picturised with any other religion, there would have been riots on every street of India. But just because its the Hindu religion, everyone takes it for granted. High time we rise to occassion and learn to ensure respect to our religion. And yes, nobody needs to point towards precedents, they are not definite indicators.

u may please note that first it was made in malayalam "manichitrataazhu"(1991) and shobhana bagged national award for this film. akshays role was played by mohanlal. then only it was remade to kannada. this s the fact

This movie is a copy of Rajnikanth's 2005 movie Chandramukhi. But Priyadarshan can not better this -- Chandramukhi is a classic ...priyadarshan will only have more funny moments but he will miss the psychological angle which was handled well in Chandramukhi.

hello one more thing ABCdef. For malayalam version priayadarshan assisted fazil. u know that? then how could u say priyan cannot deliver for this movie.one more thing Im sure askshay kumar can never act as mohanlal did for the film. no actors are avaialable right now to deliver as mohanlal did.

fool did u ever watched manichitrathaazhu? and chandramuki is no where near to orginal version "manichitrathazhu" in all sense? direction wise, acting wise, story wise - chandramuki hasnt delivered in any sense. shobana got national award for best actress for manichitrathazhu released in 1993 december

Chandramukhi sucks...Its a remake of Malayalam original "Manichithra Thazhu" which won Shobana a National Award. Chandramukhi had only some crazy people watching it 10-15 times just becoz they dont have anything inside the skull other than craze of Ranjnikanth. Priyadarshan has made 100s of Hits in Malayalam and he knows better ,how to make a good movie.
