aamir criticised amitabh for being over the top in ONE movie.But sharukh is over the top IN ALL MOVIES and many of his movies were pure garbage. I wonder why dint aamir criticse sharukh or any of his movies ever
The directors & actors in Hindi movies do not have the courtesy to acknowledge & credit the original from which they copy the stuff. They gloat over their greatness, not understanding that what they have actually made is a hash of a beautiful english TV film 'The Miracle Worker' made by Disney pictures. This movie stuck to the original Hellen Keller life story & was a lovely film. Allison Elliot does a remarkable portrayal of Anne Sullivan, Hellen Keller's teacher. She plays the role with great aplomb, grace, restraint & character. What Amitabh does is more melodramatic & really over the top. Mr. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, makes a poor copy & takes credit for it & too boot they get a national award also. What a way to go.

what about the miracle based on ice hockey ,and chak de. many dialog's are similar ,i don't know but the frustrated player kurt rusell becomes coach to coach a bench of players which are not mature enough. chak de.

Amitabh did a great job in Black. I think you seem to be biased with Western actors. Indians should represent Indian sensibilities. Not some irrelevant emotions that seem appealing for westerners.

If aamir didn't like the movie black,that's his personal opinion,but i like black and i like watching his movies, he is a hard worker and a best actor too.I love his acting.

if amir dont like to attand the award ceremony...then why he visit the OSCAR (Lagan was the big joke in OSCAR) everyone want' the award for his good work but this poor could get any more. Useless, I don't know why people watch his movie (1 and half foot joker).

Rediff and a section of the Indian media is creating a 'fight' where there is none.Highly irresponsible twisting of an interview in which Aamir was asked an opinion on a film and its maker.Aamir gave his opinion on Black; said that he found the acting over the top[did not specify Amitabh]. In his blog Aamir explained further that Amitabh remained [along with Dilip Kumar], one of his favourite actors, wrote that the emotional key of the characters is determined by the director[obvious inference being that OTT characterization results in OTT acting] and added finally that though he may have differences with Bhansali's style, he looked forward to seeing saawariya. That was a civil reply, to AB's reaction in mid-day, but AB is continuing to heap sarcasm on aamir through that same journalist Subhash K Jha[who has continuously been taking potshots at aamir].
Aamir was right about Black being an OTT exercize, yet it went past the initial melodrama to become a noble film about overcoming disability.Considering that his own film is coming up for assesment, Aamir should have been more careful with his opinion.The media is simply waiting to paint him black, and this actor goes and falls into the trap.Aamir is now in the uncomfortable position of earning the ill-will of die hard Amitabh and SLB fans. I don't think that anybody would be so foolish as to make enemies before his film's release. All this is unfortunate, and I hope a 'hatke' film like TZP will be watched, not shunned.

Big B has done everyting at highest possbile level with integrity and professinalism on Big screen and little screen (KBC)...Everything is copied by khans specailly SRK..Aamir is trying to do one movie at a time so he needs attention to make enough money...He is trying to divert attention from his brothers illness which he and his family is fighting publicly...He has dual agenda: One to sell tickets for his new movie and he is also asking for sypathy from public in reagards to his brother...May be he needs Big B to save his brother as he did in black. Aamir scripted the interview so that he can comment...he knows few trick by now...he can't comment on SRK as it doesn't make sense anyway, all of SRK movies has no acting, hardly any story with non-sense ending (KKHTH as example)and most is copied..Big B is a favorite target for everyone from Khans, Sonia, Congress, maywati, Farah Khan...As I said Big B is above and beyond anyone...He is a hero in real and reel life...Accept it and move on

Aamir needs no promotions for his film like the SRK or BIG B does...His name is enough to lift a film..Why the old fellow getting too much possessive about BLACK...Aamir has pointed out some of the flaws in the film which r absolutely correct.

The joke of the million.The 3 khans,Hritik,and Akki dont need money as they always charge above 10cr from last few years.Amir has charged 10cr for Fanaa,RDB,8 cr for Rising.He also charged 20cr for Ghazni.I dont recall but I thk his co. produced Lagaan.As Lagaan is a huge hit and the DVD which Amir released recently,has sold like a hot-cake.And lastly he refused 60cr for doing just 3 films. These r the facts from last few yrs.So 1st know the stat before comment.If u dont like Amir plzzz dont see his film.This will not affect his film.Their is enough people who want to see "Jara hatke" film

Think over the words spoken by Aamir before giving any verdict..No use in speaking nonsense.
1) Why is that you have to make a comment on a movie just before your own movie is about to release??......If I am not wrong Black released 2.5 years back and you are making a public statement just before your movie as director is going to release??
2) If Black doesnt make any sense to you then what about Mela, Mangal Pandey, Atank hi Atank etc..?
3) If BigB calls a press confrerence and says that LAGAAN was a crap movie and your acting was below average in the movie, then what would be your own reaction?
4)Its ok to get some publicity before youir movie is going to release but what was the big idea to comment on a movie which is been accepted by both masses as well as classes?

Mr. Nitin, Always get your facts right and then open your mouth. Read the interview of Aamir where the interviewer simply forced him to give his views on Black when ideally he should have asked only about his movie TZP. He did not call any press conference to do that. Please write some sensible stuff or else everyone will call you "Raja Sen"

u r a blind supporter of amitabh that much i could extract what have u written.U must accept aamir is by far the most talented actor after dilip kumar nd rajkapoor pl ignore what these crazy ppl rather i wd say mad ppl especially females say abt shahrukh nd salman nd go gaaga behind them.99% educated r sensible ppl in india r in abroad would go for aamir khan . He is the best actor nd not hungry of recognition avoids 3 page party nd all.
