whats worng wirh indian's sense of humour ?? you all don like , but you still go watch his movies .......if u dislike him so much please don gon watch his movie as simple as that .....for me srk rocks , I cant imagine bollywood without him , I think bollywood is cool b'coz of shahrukh , otherwise it was never cool to watch bollywood at least in my frind circle before shahrukh ....

I saw OSO and found that it is silly copy of the Madhumati ( Dilip Kumar Vaijayantimala) in climax, Exact attempt. It does not deserve More than Average review so the least. No Creativity silly caricatures as characters No innovative ideas great marketing product should be taught in IIM However good acting by SRK and Padukone.

Your facts are a little mixed up and I must say a little far from the truth. You see, take the example of Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, which did make Karan Johar profit in money terms, even SRK took a pie of the extra return over investments made in that movie which it more than covered because it made a cute pie both from the video, music, DVD and overseas rights. There were in fact some rumours that SRK had purchased the overseas rights for KANK, but I am not sure. So while indeed the material fact is that over the money spent in the making of a film like KANK the producer, i.e. Karan Johar did make a profit, but does he, or even SRK or anyone else connected with the movie have the guts to say that it was a HIT or SUCCESSFUL film. My friend, the answer is a flat NO, NON or NYET. It was not even a good movie, let alone being a HIT movie. So even now, please record this firmly in your mind, a fatter bank balance a movie might result in for its producers or other shareholders, it still is considered a FLOP if it does not bring in the audiences in theatres. So a successfull run in theatres for a picture is must for it to be declared a success. KANK did not pass the test, and pls. record this much, that despite DVD rights, music rights, overseas rights, Saawariya, just like KANK is a flop especially because both movies did not bring in the audiences in the theatres IN INDIA. Period.

nobody can by doordarshan? thats a joke! they are the ppl who will be sold in no time..coz it is run by govt employees who are specialist in taking bribes
I think the author needs to put the entire film industry in perspective when deciding whether the film is a flop of not.
In the entire article the author has has comfortably mentioned the pre-release sale of rights; however, the profits of th producers have resulted in the losses of the distributors and exhibitors. So as a whole, when a big budget 'mega movie' turns out to be a flop at the box office - and especially when the producer gets his profits before the release - the number of stakeholders who loose are enormous.
And in case we are more concerned about the mighty producer than the ordinary distributor or exhibitor, the long term repurcussions to Subhash Ghai (as a director-producer) have to be considered. 'Kisna', despite being a Subhash Ghai film (which was a huge thing to be post Taal) did not create any excitement either in cinegoers or in the film industry. What goes around comes around.
srk can only imitate srk.look he cant imitae rajni. which any third class film actor in south or north can do better than him. om shanthi om would have been much better with govinda i think

Poor Choices either Govinda,Rajni or any south indian Actor or not a single actor from north also can not make mach like SRK.You r such an stupid choice and sense to unserstand acting calbre.Rajni a blacky victim of over acting.Failure in north.govinda B grade choice.Why SRK called a King of acting.He is better than AMitabh in all movies whenever they came both.If havnt seen yet Chak De go and watch.
